Parsons Green Station has a small entrance and in the ticket hall area the walls need a good lick of paint. There is no disabled access only stairs to the platforms which are steep and old. The station could do with a upgrade.
They call it an underground station, but I'm pretty sure every bit of it is overground, at least the parts open to the public. Not to be confused with Parson Brown from the song Winter Wonderland.
Cosy and compact station, can get very very crowded in the rush hours. It has a character and some quite peculiar design elements. A clock on the Westbound platform is one of them!
Delightful almost village like tube station. Very narrow exit and entrance. No idea what it would be like at busy times. Stair access to the platforms quite steep with two levels to climb by the reward is a broad platform with nice seats. It has a charming old clock and possibly would benefit from adding a couple of framed vintage London transport posters.
The underground fails disability step free to platforms.. needs investment to modify the station to cater for step free passengers.. what's TFL going to do ??
