It's a train station like most others. However, it's worth noting that there are a couple of flights of stairs up to the platforms.nInterestingly, to the south of the platform, there's an old pillbox that must've been constructed for the second world war, but it's not accessible for the public.
Nice train station which is severed by the District line. There is no disabled access to the platforms only stairs. The bus station is right outside. This station gets very busy when Fulham FC are playing at home as this is the closest station to there ground.
Nice enough. Clean. Seems safe enough as well lit and constant people coming and going.nWell located for a Thames side walk or stroll to Fulham Palace museum. However, totally disabled, elderly, pram or suitcase unfriendly as only steep stairs to platforms although tbh it would be very easy to install lifts given the location and side platform land available downstairs.nWaiting rooms on platform rarity which is good as wind can blow off the Thames and a convenience store, barber and a dry cleaner across the road.nPub around corner near the Premier Inn. Some buses routes start/finish out front; other routes you have to walk 5 minutes up behind the Premier Inn onto the stop on Putney Bridge approaches itself.
A pleasant station with fairly good views for an Underground station. It could be cleaner though.
Good for access to Fulham FC. Putney Bridge itself I lovely for looking at the the Thames.
