Busy on match days as Chelsea are in walking distance. That said the station is well serviced by both the district and piccalilly lines. The station boasts a shopping centre entrance/exit but this is closed at times on match days forcing exit out to the service road to the side of the shopping area. A fair selection of shops & coffee outlets here but turn right out of entrance and the Fulham road and the rest of the Broadway opens up with its huge variety of outlets of all kinds.
The DISTRICT line must be the WORST run tube line in London. Especially during holidays and busy times. Delays nearly every single day multiple times WHEN it runs which seems to be increasingly 5 days a week. Sometimes it’s a train once every 18 minutes, sometimes once every 1 minute. Train arrival display on the platform heading East is rarely ever accurate and staff don’t seem it’s in their job description to tell you when the next train will be or where it’s at, or why it’s delayed. Station itself is getting work down to the roof so platforms are much narrower than normal not good for when football matches are on. There’s a shopping centre above if you need all the usual daily stuff and a cinema, supermarkets, gym and restaurants and coffee shops.
Small but functional shopping centre with a great VUE cinema. The cinema has good screens at very decent prices. Enough places to eat and hang out if you happen to be visiting Fulham. A good option for a rainy day as the tube station entrance leads right to the shopping centre.
My favorite stop, located in a large shopping center, very good location, buses around reach all important points in London. Wonderful Christmas decorations, as every year.nAll safety and disinfection measures are observed!nI recommend!
What a nice little station, love the mix of new and old, literally seconds away from shopping mall and cinema, and in a good location of Fulham. Very frequent trains on district line.
