This is an exceptional hotel spread out over several beautiful buildings that have been extremely well restored, blending old and new. Spacious characterful rooms, beds are extremely comfortable, service is excellent. I can't fault it. Thyme is way above the average country House hotel.

Really lovely hotel. We spent a night in the dairy cottage after attending a wedding and it was just perfect. Got in at 1am, lit the log fire and cuddled up on the sofa with a cosy blanket before retiring to the very comfortable bed. The shower is instant hot water and very powerful, really appreciated the heated floor in the bathroom. Breakfast was nice although the museli is extremely sweet and sticky. I found the set up of tables a bit strange as well - would prefer a more conventional set up with small tables as these massive long ones don't work well when you're an odd numbered or large party.

The ultimate in good taste, beautiful surroundings, Thyme really is a hidden gem. Perfect for a sumptuous relaxing weekend that you'll want to repeat again and again. I'm predicting that this hotel spa estate and village pub is going to be very popular and will rank highly when compared to other hotels in Europe.

A truly wonderful and memorable visit to this beautiful hotel. It has everything you could wish for and more, the attention to detail is unsurpassable, and the staff are the friendliest and most helpful that you'll come across anywhere. Can't wait to go back!
