The Five Alls

About

The new standard

Story

Sebastian and Lana Snow bring their charismatic and distinctive flair to this historic C18 inn in the picturesque village of Filkins. Sitting at the gateway of the Cotswolds, the Five Alls is the latest in the long line of Seb and Lana’s audacious and successful ventures. All the style and attention to detail that brought acclaim and award in equal measure to the Swan in Southrop and Snows on the Green in London is evident in this very pretty pub in an equally pretty village.

Boasting two dining rooms, a private dining area, a cosy snug and an accommodating bar, the Five Alls offers every opportunity to sample the quality of cuisine, expert service and design panache that have brought Seb and Lana such renown. Four en-suite rooms, each prepared to the same high standard evident elsewhere, offer boutique accommodation to those looking to stay that little bit longer, whether that is for a local event or for further exploration of Seb’s menu or the stunning local countryside. Designed by Miranda Snow, each room offers a different take of the Cotswold aesthetic with all the amenities expected of the modern hotel.

Booking is necessary for rooms and strongly recommended for dining.

Absolutely fantastic. Amazing room, super friendly staff and fantastic food. Feels unfair to be classified as a room at a pub, we stayed in the garden rooms and it felt like a 5* hotel. Will definitely visit again. Good luck to the new owners and team!Rooms: 5/5
Last minute booking for work, when I saw the price I wasn't expecting much but how wrong could I be?! Beautiful location, building is amazing, stunning beer garden, decor very well thought out and the rooms were stunning with a comfy bed, and all amenities. Sad to have inky stayed for one night! Dog friendly, the owners have their own dogs which are lovely. Serving staff are superb, very helpful and classy. Good for a joke or two too! Food was great, albeit a tad slow but seemed to have one person in the kitchen, maybe staff sickness or whatever wasn't an issue. Just meant more beer drunk while waiting! Meal was a little bit over seasoned, but tastes can differ! Breakfast was very tasty, quality ingredients. In all a lovely spot, I'd stay again if in the area Oh, it's on the approach for Brize Norton so expect aeroplane noises!
Lovely rooms, well decorated and modern facilities, our bathroom had a walk-in shower which lovely. Breakfast was very good and evening meals well cooked and delicious. Pub is cosy if you just want a drink with a nice fire. This has recently reopened with new management and get seem to be doing everything they can to make this a very good venue, we spent 4 nights here and would definitely recommend
Love love love!! What a find! Delicious Sunday roasts and what a great wine menu. This place is an absolute gem. We’ll be back regularly. Thank you team for a great experience Service: 5/5

My fiancé booked for a weekend away and the Five All was a super choice. The staff were truly excellent, the food was superb the lamb is great!! and the room was decorated well, comfortable and breakfast included. Would recommend swing by for a pint & supper or a weekend stay.Rooms: 5/5
Fantastic atmosphere with a homely free and log fire. Staff were helpful and very friendly. Rooms immaculate and was given a free upgrade which was amazing. 100% recommend this lovely place. Rooms: Spacious, well finished with a rustic feel. Modern coffee machine which was well stocked, canned water and modern radio and TV.
I cannot speak for the hotel as we only ate and drank at the pub… but I have to say it was one of the worst pub experiences i have ever had. Recently refurbished - feels like a clinical doctors waiting room. Horrible depressing music playing… totally empty… As we left we thanked the staff but we were totally ignored as we exited… in fact the staff were just really weird and rude throughout Food we ate was really sub standard and expensive In summary, charmless setting, staff and food in a beautiful village… As locals, it is a shame to say that we won’t be back.
Came in for a meal, was served by a young girl with glasses and had the best experience. Food and service were outstanding. Will be returning soon Food & drinks: Outstanding food, very quick
We stayed in the family room. It was very comfortable and spacious. The pub is very traditional. We had dinner & breakfast here, the food was exceptional. Small menu with fresh quality ingredients. We highly recommend it! Staff was friendly and helpful. We hope to return on our next visit to England.Rooms: 5/5
