Great hosts, communication from start of booking to when we left was exemplary, well equipped accommodation, clean property, check in on the day earlier than we expected which was great. Cottages in a great area for getting about. Games room an added bonus which we made use of. Would highly recommend.Rooms: 5/5
We found Ty Nant on the web and stayed from Dec 12 to 19. There were 4 adults and a dog - and we self-catered, eating in a lot. The booking process was easy. The website made an error in pricing and undercharged us. While the owner offered to honour the web price, we ended up splitting the pricing difference. The instructions for arrival and for the stay were comprehensive. The unit was clean and ready for guests - with the promised starting supplies. The linen and towels were great and the beds comfortable. The kitchen had loads of crockery and cutlery and enough pots and pans for home cooking and various coffee making options. We really appreciated the use of eco-friendly soap and other supplies. While the Stables can hold more than 4 adults the unit sleeps 6, I believe - the living space would be limited It is an old stable! In addition, one should not want to expect to be watching TV they were small - but that should be the focus of a visit to Ty Nant - one should be outdoors. The owners were very responsive to any questions we had. The unit was well soundproofed as we never heard other tenants and the games room is a great addition - with a good supply of books, games and videos. To be expected in an old cottage, the upstairs floors creak as one moves around. Overall, a great place to stay and good value for the money spent.
We stayed in The Rickyard for a couple of nights to attend a wedding nearby on the hottest weekend of the year! Justine and Andrew were extremely accommodating and nothing was too much trouble. Lovely and spacious accommodation in a peaceful setting. Games room was an extra bonus. Thank you!
Comfortable and with all mod cons, including plenty of kitchen equipment, crockery, wine glasses and champagne flutes all of which we actually used. Good if you have a dog, as there is a footpath across fields outside the cottage and Willow Meadow fields opposite the driveway. Also not far from the excellent Cotswold Wildlife Park, and Crocodiles of the World, which is also good.

We had a lovely stay at Ty Nant Cottages for 3 nights last weekend. Surrounded by fields it gave us a peaceful base to explore the local area from. The accommodation is very well equipped with everything you would need to self cater if required. We enjoyed the well equipped games room for an afternoon although I didn't realise just how bad I am at darts. Owner contact was via text with updates and checking all was ok which were both welcome and unintrusive. As we left we talked about coming again but for longer so that says it all. Highly recommended from us thank you.
We had a fantastic stay at Ty Nant cottages, the whole process was contactless and the owners have clearly put a lot of thought into how to organise this. We felt as though we were on a countryside retreat and loved walking around the beautiful area. The games room is fantastic. Our room had everything we needed for our self catering stay - clean, had Netflix, nice bathroom, plenty of fridge and cupboard space and it felt safe and secure. We wouldn't hesitate to rebook this fantastic little getaway!
Just got back from a weekend break stayed in the saddlery. Well thought out room with very nice furnishings all of good quality.mattress not to my liking very firm, but high quality mattress just wasn't for me. Nice little extras supplied like milk, coffee, shower gel and hand soap which I thought was a nice touch. Very peaceful surroundings and lovely location if you like peace and quite. Convenient to all the villages and all in all a great place to stay. Well informed by owners with lots of detail given. Thank you for the slightly early check in and the message after we'd left saying hope we'd had a nice time and safe journey home, another nice touch. Would recommend and will visit again
This was one of the best short stays we have ever had and we have had a lot! The accomodation is very comfortable, and every little comfort has been thought of. The owners were on hand if needed, but completely unobtrusive otherwise. The kitchen was so well-equipped that I hosted a big family lunch on the Sunday, which was wonderful after all this Covid palaver. We were so thrilled that we are hoping to organise a family Christmas, renting other cottages as well as the Stables. Thank you Justine and Andrew!
We were in need of some accommodation following a flood. While we didn’t end up staying the hosts were wonderful with their communication while we tried to sort out details. It’s reassuring to know that there are people willing to do all they can to help strangers. Communication and friendliness both excellent.
