Warm welcome at reception when checking in. Food really good and well presented with the option of eating in the bar or restaurant. Sky sports available in the bar. Rooms clean and tidy if a little on the small side. Would recommend this for a short stay to explore the Cotswolds.

Great venue for a party. Staff are excellent and very open to your ideas. Food was very tasty and received lots of positive comments. Friends staying overnight rated the rooms and breakfast very highly. Thank you for making a night to remember.

The staff are so polite I felt like a VIP. It was my first time visiting too. Food is lovely and healthy portions. I stayed for a Saturday lunch. The fireplace is a warming addition to the bar setting. Very nice and busy atmosphere too :)

I have stayed here twice. The first time was excellent. Lovely room, comfortable bed and very good value for £80. Booked again as we were very impressed. This time we were offered a room for £50 great. Room was basic but we are happy to do cheap and cheerful. Unfortunately the housekeeping standards on this room unlike the more expensive one were very poor. A lot of dust on the shelving to put your clothes, so ours stayed in our luggage. The bathroom was very shabby and not only could you not lock the door you couldn't even close it. Such a shame after such a pleasant stay previously. On a good point the breakfast is very nice and the staff are lovely. Will come back again but not in this room. I would rather pay the extra money for a better room.

Lovely room with good facilities, breakfast good, excellent service. Very reasonable price! Would definitely recommend. May need to get extractor fan in bathroom though.
