After a hike with my friends we came across this pub, and it was an absolute treat. Snacks were good recommend the squid, beer was cold on a summer day, and most importantly the service was top notch. Incredibly friendly staff. Would love to come back and stay for a night or two.Service: 5/5
Had a lovely lunch today at the Plough. Thanks to the fab team and for looking after our elderly friend Gerry. Great job as usual from Vincent’s team, cheers to Rupert too - Thank you!Service: 5/5
Nice pub, garden is pleasant. Three stars because my son's coke had so much ice I reckon there was only about 50ml of actual drink in it. At pub prices this is a complete rip-off and my son was very disappointed with his drink.Service: 3/5
We had a wonderful stay at The Plough Inn. The rooms were newly refurbished to a very high standard and the food was exceptional. Thank you to Vincent and the rest of the team. We could not recommend it more highly and look forward to returning soon.Rooms: 5/5
Beware overcharged, check what the menu prices says to what they charge you. Overcharged for a bowl of chips... £5 even though menu says its £4 and you get a small.childrens dish of chips what an absolute joke.
We went to The Plough Inn on Christmas a group of 9 people and had an amazing experience. BIG shout out to the manager, Vincent, and Dennis who were serving us and were exceptional; and to the Head chef, Alex and sous-chef, Janos, who were superb in the kitchen. The quality of food, the wine flights and the service were all impeccable - credit where it's due. Well Done Team! We will be back HNY to you all
Lovely pub in a gorgeous location with William Morris's house close by. Good food, excellent beers, wines and huge selection of gins!Service: 5/5
A brilliant village pub in the traditional mould. I was there for a drink with friends. Great atmosphere - there was a Welsh Male Choir singing there which was absolutely fantastic.Service: 5/5
1345 on a Saturday lunchtime. Lots of free tables. But they wouldn’t serve ANY food - not even bar snacks - because we hadn’t reserved. So much for the great hospitality.Service: 1/5
We stayed here a few weeks ago with our two dogs for 2 nights. The staff was super friendly, welcoming and attentive and the dogs were treated with their own bits of sausages for breakfast. The rooms and especially the bathrooms are really nice and breakfast is just fantastic definitely go for the croissants, they're heavenly! as is dinner. We went for a full three courses and this was by far the best dinner we've had in a really long time possibly ever. While you're at it, try the Gin in a Tin assortment, that was really good as well. If we're ever back in the area, well definitely be back.
