We visited the plough for the first time over the bank holiday but although it's a lovely location we won't be returning. Despite there being an extensive menu and clearly a decent chef, there was only one very lazy vegetarian main option of a roasted vegetable salad. I had the last salad available and it was overly greasy and not particularly pleasant to eat. We were especially disappointed as we'd phoned ahead to check they had several veggie options and was told there was, but clearly the staff answering the phone do not understand the menu. It's really not difficult to come up with a few vegetarian meal ideas and I hope the management take this feedback on board so we can return to what is a nice pub one day.

Wonderful. Lovely peaceful setting. Accommodation just perfect for the character of the Inn. Very very reasonably priced. Will definitely look forward to coming again Rob and Sarah J

My wife and I visited the Plough for Sunday lunch. I can honestly say that it was fabulous. The food was excellent as was the service. We would both highly recommend it.

Nice traditional English pub; good beers, good food. Lovely country setting.
