I had booked a twin room, but before check-in, I received an email stating that all twin rooms were fully booked and that we would be given separate duvets in a new double room instead. Upon arrival at the hotel, we were surprised to be charged a deposit, which I have never experienced at any other Radisson Blu location. When we checked into the double room, we were taken aback by how small it was, with hardly any space between what appeared to be a three-quarter bed and the toilet. Moreover, we did not receive the promised separate duvets. Dissatisfied with the cramped conditions, we approached the reception, where the staff miraculously found us a more appropriately sized double room. However, they reiterated that the hotel was fully booked and that there were no twin rooms available, despite my reservation. I can't help but wonder, what would happen if I had come with a colleague and didn’t want to share a bed? Shouldn't those who specifically booked twin rooms have priority? If the hotel is overbooked, perhaps it shouldn’t advertise room availability beyond what it can actually provide. Additionally, while in the new room, I attempted to close the window, and it fell on me. Thankfully, I managed to fix it without injuring myself or causing further damage. Overall, I am incredibly disappointed with my experience and will not be returning to this hotel.
Strong avoid. Dirty hotel, and confirmed bed bugs see pic. Came in to smelly room with dirty carpet. In the toilet, there were multiple big bugs crawling under the door. This is weird. I got suspicious, checked under the mattress - and there was a bedbug inspection kit. Inside there were a dozen bedbugs. Went to reception to immediatelly check out, got another hotel. Also tons of pubes and mold on the floor of bathroom and in shower. Please also check other reviews - I think this hotel has been buying 5-star reviews, this feels like a 2-star hotel to me.
I've stayed in the Radisson Bloomsbury for 3 nights, then changed to Radisson Tottenham for 2 more nights because the price was cheaper for a solo traveler. I recommend Radisson Tottenham Hotel for a great value for money! I had a fast check in at the reception, where the stuff is super kind and polite. The lady who did the check in for me was very professional, fast and nice. The room is good. Pros: Room is quite, have a lot of space and a large desk to work which I needed. Room was very clean and the bed is comfortable. Cons: You can tell the room is pretty old it terms of both the stage of the facilities and the design, that said I didn't mind that as long it is clean and spacious. Like The Radisson Bloomsbury which is right across the street, the best thing about Radisson Tottenham is the location - everything is within 2-15 min walk from you. The closest tube station is also 5 min walk and you can take the Elizabeth line to Heathrow from it. I had a great say and will definitely come back to this hotel, or to any other Radisson hotels in the future!
Location, perfect. But NO HOT WATER while it’s 0C outside. Arrived last night, no hot water. This morning before I left, no hot water. And there is no expected time to be fixed. Incredible. Additionally, the fire alarm was triggered “three times” during the night. Terrible night and little sleep.
All the money you pay is for location. Room is old and dirty. Got water stopped parking after the second day of my stay. The hotel room has not telephone or other method to contact reception from the room. The room is way too congested and they have a very small desk with a tiny kettle and few tea bags. The hair dryer doesn’t work properly unless you press a particular button for long time. Seems like has lost function over time and very old but never replaced. They offer long ironing board and iron but nowhere to actually put it. Couldn’t shower on the last two days in London as no hot water in autumn. Not really sure what I paid a four star hotel fee for. Very disappointed but location is great and close to places I wanted to go. Rooms: Old dirty. No hot water. Nearby activities: Shopping and west end musicals Safety: Lots of thieves and bag and phone snatchers so be very careful. Walkability: Easy. Lots of thieves around so be careful of bay and phone snatching. Food & drinks: There’s a few close cafes and bakeries. They don’t take cash only card. Noteworthy details: Old dirty and hot water didn’t work.
The hotel has a great location, 5 minutes walk to Tottenham Court Road tube station and Oxford Street. The lobby and public areas are renovated. However the bedrooms are dated and small. There is no power socket next to the bed so your mobile or smart watch must charge overnight at the other end of the room on the desk. Staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms: Rooms are small and dated. Need power sockets next to bed. Nearby activities: Good location for Oxford Street, Soho, Covent Garden and the West End Walkability: Easy
Reception staff were very pleasant and helpful, they offered some compensation for building noise and then no hot water overnight and into the next day. Premium room was a good size, double shower. The vanity mirror fell off the wall, which was fixed pretty fast. Room 402 was a bit jaded but adequate. Comfy bed and pillows.Rooms: 4/5
Amazing location, extremely central and very quiet had an inwards facing room. Standard double room was on the small side, but for 1-2 adults it’s fine, and with full amenities. It could be a bit more modern and cleaner when I checked in I had to ask them to come hoover the carpet as I could see dirt very clearly, but housekeeping was daily and did a great job. Really nice breakfast too. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Rooms: Typical for London, but with full amenities Nearby activities: Everything - the British Museum, the West End musicals, Covent Garden, all the shopping. Safety: Felt safe Walkability: Buses and tube all around to go anywhere you wish.
There is no way that this hotel is a 4 star hotel, its 2 stars at best. There wasn't anyone to help us with our bags. The hotel is old, the service is terrible. You need a room key to get in the elevator, but there are stairs right next to the elevator that lead to the floors so the security is terrible. The moment we stepped into our room, we could feel the mold. There was absolutely ventilation in the room, and every time we showered, the entire bathroom and room would steam up contributing to the smell of mold and mustiness. All of the windows were shut and we were unable to open them to try and air the room out. My fiance and I both felt ill, to the point where I was coughing uncontrollably and my fiance had terrible sinus issues. We wanted to be good guests and try to deal with it but we couldn't after two days. We went to the front desk to complain, and were promptly told that we should have come and complained sooner. We told them we want to leave and we were then told we would get a refund but we have yet to see this refund. Our friends stayed in the same hotel with us as this was a group trip and they experienced worse issues and all left the hotel as well. We are all having issues getting the refunds we were promised. I highly recommend you stay away from this hotel if you don't want to have health issues and want to enjoy your trip. Rooms: awful, small, musty, no ventilation
Good location, but thats about the only good thing. First we arrive, get into our room, and everything seemed normal by then. But, when we tried setting the air to be colder since it was extremely hot in the room, it didnt become colder even after 2 hours of having it at 15 and the fan set at full speed since the air barely work, Then, when I took a shower I noticed that it was taking awfully long to get hot water. After 15 minutes of running the water, no hot water came out. Took about a day for the hotel staff to fix it, not to mention whenever we would call any number or option on the phone, no one picked up. This basically reflects my experience for the next 3 days. Disappointed, DO NOT STAY HERE. Micheal was nice though
