Angela the team leader,is fantastic! She helped me with a very delicate and import for me matter. I am super grateful, I am surprised and excited about everything she did for my family! I am amazed and positively surprised by the quality of service over the phone! Every hotel deserves an Angela like her! THANK YOU! Thank you very much! You are the most amazing person that has helped me in the hotel industry! With love Alex :
Paid $250 for a deluxe room. Were put in a below ground floor room with construction going on til 10:30pm or so. Our view was some kind of junk or storage bags of some kind and pipes with steam or something coming out. We could watch the backhoe and people's legs going by. We had a couple of drinks but were seated in the lobby. The next evening they didn't even have the Jamison we were drinking.
Stayed from July 10 to 14th. Booked a family room. It was fairly comfortable. Not sure why extremely tiny bins are placed in the room and bathroom area. A/C worked well and staff was quite pleasant and helpful. Overall, a good stay.Rooms: 5/5
Terrible! Stay away. When we checked in after a long trip, nobody offered us any help with our bags. Only one key was issued due to some system malfunction. Room is old. Bathroom with dents and cracks. Signs of the water damage on the ceiling. No deadbolt, so no way to lock the room from the inside. No USB or any other power source by the bed. Air conditioner is located right above the bed and blows air into the face. Very bright outside lights are right in front of our windows and it is impossible to sleep without shades. Shower door is installed on the wrong side. I can keep going, but this is more than enough to conclude: This is not a 4 star hotel as they claim. It is an overpriced 2 star motel.
Clean rooms and very friendly staff. My room was big and it was myself, my wife and our two boys. Breakfast is great. Quickly felt very at home. Stayed for 5 nights. Great location - close to metro / underground and British Museum.Rooms: 5/5
Lovely welcoming staff. The Manager tried her utmost to accommodate us with a room change but this was not possible. However I appreciated her efforts for trying. She kindly offered us complimentary services. The room was ready so we were able to check in on arrival about noon which was really kind. So if your room is ready they will let you check in early. The room in the basement is very dark and cold and tired looking. This is not the fault of the staff but the owners. The owners need to update the facilities, update the internal glazing and fix the aircon as during the day and night it was very cold. I’m sure they would’ve provided a stand alone radiator if I had asked but that just dries out your throat and eyes so I never bothered. Carpets are stained and worn. Bathroom shows signs of wear and tear and mould. But the shower was hot any time of the day. Our towels were changed each day and our beds made, without us even asking, which makes a nice change. Like I said the staff are lovely it’s a shame the owners don’t update the rooms. We stayed in room 008. Large family room in the basement which is not what was shown on the website when I booked. I should’ve checked with the hotel before that the family rooms shown when booking is nothing like you would get. There was some noise outside the bedroom window from about 7am, maybe staff entrance or bike parking? You could hear the footsteps of the floor above which was noisy most of the time. We did not eat at the hotel so we cannot comment on other services. If this hotel was revamped I would stay again as location wise it’s excellent and the staff are nice. However I would not stay again in its current condition.
Good hotel, small basic rooms but still nice. Staff friendly and helpful. Rooms: Small but good rooms
This hotel is worth the money. The front desk staffs are friendly and welcoming. The area is quiet. The room is old and dark with one window. The bed is comfortable. The room is big, good for a family stay. TV is old and too small for a big room. Wifi is good. The shower water is strong but very difficult to adjust the temperature. The hotel should change the bathtub buttons, and make them user-friendly. Room temperature is tricky to adjust. Suggest the hotel add a wardrobe and side table for the coffee. The chairs are heavy and old. Perhaps it is time to change to a more simple basic chair. Rooms: Big in size. Should change to a bigger TV. Add more furnitures for clothing storage. The chairs are too heavy to move and not practical.
Dinner was very good and the staff were superb. Attentive, friendly and quick. I shall be back.Service: 5/5
The hotel is located close to the city centre, yet it is quiet at nights. The staff is very friendly, the breakfast contains various options including fresh fruits and vegetables, muesli, toast, jam, etc. and is quite delicious. Our room was clean and large enough to stay for a week. There are water boilers and tea in the rooms.Rooms: 4/5
