Always a very pleasant experience at Jumeirah Lowndes. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The rooms are comfortable and it feels like a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The Health Club at the sister property the Carlton Tower is excellent also. It’s also a lovely London location. Rooms: Comfortable and warm rooms Walkability: Very close to all amenities and walking distance to both Knightsbridge, Hyde Park and Kings Road.
The hotel is very nice, clean, tidy and will locate it. I will definitely come again and enjoy staying at it. However, avoid rooms near elevators, or above the hotel entrance as the glazed the glass does not isolate sounds perfectly . My room 110 is right above the hotel entrance from the window side and facing the elevators from the door side, and you could hear sounds from both sides all day long.
The hotel was excellent—clean rooms, friendly staff, and great amenities. However, the recent menu change at the restaurant was disappointing. The new options were limited and lacked flavor compared to past visits. Everything else was great, but I’d suggest dining elsewhere until they improve the menu.Rooms: 5/5
The hotel is excellently located, conveniently close to key attractions. Unfortunately, my check-in experience was quite negative. An Indian employee at the reception was rude and delayed my check-in until 6:30 PM because I requested the minibar to be emptied to avoid the £100 per night deposit charges. This delay was both unnecessary and frustrating further more The room was not ready upon my eventual check-in. Additionally, I had to accommodate the maintenance team during my stay to fix broken fridge shelves, which was highly inconvenient and disrupted my stay. Overall, these issues significantly impacted my experience and were disappointing experience
Unfortunately I have to put one star, but they deserve less than that… for start there was 2 single bed together, when you book a superior room you expected minimum a double bed… the towels were dirty… we paid for a breakfast but they don’t serve a English breakfast, the breakfast option was just continental plus plain eggs, I asked for a English breakfast they told they don’t have it, how I’m in England and I can’t have a English breakfast? The staff in the restaurant have to be trained, looks like they never worked before. For my surprise or not, when I went to do a check out, they are wanted to charge me for an extra breakfast even though I was alone there all the time and was charging me for tip as well more then £50 pounds, but when we booked it they never told us that will be charge extra for a tip. You have to earn a tip not just charge it… The door at the mini fridge was broke and fixed with the selotape… I don’t know how this hotel is classified a 5 star hotel.
The location is very nice clean hotel But unfortunately zero safety and it’s the most important part . Someone from the cleaning team opened my bag and stole money from my wallet. I reported in the same day security team very nice but no action taken Its not a hotel that u can leave things in ur room without being afraid that it might get stolen
UPDATE: JUST LOOKING AT YOUR REPLY YOU ARE IN VIOLATION OF CONFIDENTIALITY BY WRITING A NAME. SECONDLY PROOF OF HOW POORLY ORGANISED YOU ARE I AM NOT MISS SHOWIATER! I WOULD NEVER RERURN IF YOU GAVE ME A FREE SUITE FOR A MONTH AND SPENDING MONEY. IM 32 WEEKS PREGNANT AND YOU CANCELLED MY BOOKING I HAVE A TWO YEAR OLD AND WE DROVE THREE HOURS. LUCKILY WE FOUND THE BEAUTIFUL LANGHAM AND REALISED WHAT WE WERE MISSING! I WILL BE GOING TO TRADING STANDARDS FOR THE FACT YOU CHARGE SO MUCH FOR HORRIBLE ROOMS. YOU BARRED ME BECAUSE WE PAID ALMOST 600 FOR A ROOM THAT WAS SCALDING ME WHEN I USED THE HOT WATER, BROKEN TV AND BROKEN AIRCON! You are a shame to Jumeirah group of hotels! Nothing was addressed, we had broken air cons scalding water, and broken tv no one could fix customer service was appalling, and when I complained I got nothing for 10 days, so I wrote a review. Thinking we would give you another chance, I found my hotel room was cancelled. You took our money and gave us a room that was more appealing than primer inn! Appalling experience with this hotel. From TV not working to broken air con noisy room, disrespectful hotel staff! If you write a honest review they ban you! This hotel is not what you think it is, dated and very dirty for what you pay. There are a hundred different hotels you could try instead of this one. It’s not worth it. Will be contacting the main guys and jumeirah group of hotels about this appaling experience I have had!
We had a weekend stay in London and were very happy to stay in Jumeirah. The luxury service was consistent and I have felt like home away from home. Big thanks to Angelina and Svitoliana, two sisters that made our stay even more memorable with their warm hospitality.Rooms: 5/5
This is my favorite hotel in London .. literally it is my fourth time to stay and not planning to change .. staff are extremely friendly and cooperative .. and the location is amazingRooms: 4/5
I have always been loving Jumeirah hotel chains until i landed to this hotel. At first comes safety. We suspected someone opening our room's door at 5am without prior permission or knocking. Second comes cleanliness. The room is extremely dusty and there does not seem to be thorough cleaning done prior. Lastly which was very disappointing was the fact that they fined us 250 pounds for having Oud scents in the closet. They even took the oud away and we were never alerted which is unacceptable. Although i have visited the reception multiple times, theyve only informed me after implementing the fine. For “safety” concerns.
