The Pig - in the wall is a charming gem that offers an unforgettable experience. This delightful establishment boasts a cozy deli-style restaurant that serves up delectable dishes, perfect for any time of the day. The convenience of free parking is a great plus, making the visit hassle-free. One of the highlights of The Pig - in the wall is its atmospheric lounge, where guests can relax in plush leather chairs next to a working fireplace. It's the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy the cozy ambiance. After our trip to the Isle of Wight, we stopped by to quench our thirst with a pint of shandy. The experience was fantastic, and the warm, welcoming environment made it even better. The Pig - in the wall truly stands out with its unique charm and excellent service.
We had a lovely meal here. Had informed about dairy allergy when booking. Staff were wonderful, was given a menu with the things I could have all pointed out and adaptations explained. Nothing was too much trouble. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was, delicious. We had a wonderful time.Service: 5/5
Love the pig hotels but they need to fix their website. You can't search across multiple hotels for more than a one night stay if you select 2 night stay and then select "all hotels" it reverts to a one night stay. They have built a great brand but are losing customers like me who just want to stay at any Pig hotel for a weekend; it's too hard to find availability.
Stayed here on the first stop of our honeymoon. The hotel was beautiful, the food was great, and the staff was incredibly nice. Can't recommend them enough.Rooms: 5/5
Excellent deli lunch. Perfect table near the kitchen. Good wine list. Excellent service.Rooms: 5/5
The Best Boutique Hotel we have ever stayed at! The smell of the food when you walk in the door, the cleanliness and style of the room, the convenient location. If you are cruising out of this port, you can see the cruise ship. Wonderful place, we will definitely be back to visit. Thank you Pig in the Wall!!!Rooms: 5/5
We had a fabulous night’s stay at The Pig in the Wall. Our room 4 was spotlessly clean, with the most comfortable bed. The room was decorated so stylishly and there was everything in the room we could have needed. The staff were very welcoming and couldn’t have been more helpful. Breakfast was superb - an excellent choice of cold and cooked foods. The location is very good for exploring Southampton - overall I’d thoroughly recommend this hotel. The cocktails are great too!
Amazing rooms, staff were really friendly and the breakfast was superb. We didn’t eat there on the evening as the choice wasn’t that great but ample choice nearby and we would not hesitate in returning.Rooms: 5/5
Quite disappointed with the experience. The room was lovely and spacious, nicely decorated but we did pay for the bigger room. I had heard only good things about the hotel and the service. I booked it for my fiancé's birthday but the staff were quite rude. We had a booking for dinner at 8pm and they told us we had to be there 10mins earlier because the kitchen closed at 8pm. Just a suggestion maybe have the last booking time at 7:30pm! We paid for B&B and dinner, the breakfast did not include cooked option! The continental breakfast was very disappointing, you would be better off going to lidl and getting freshly squeezed orange juice and some pastries. I really don't understand the hype and will not be recommending. Rooms: From what I can see it's worth going extra for the spacious rooms. Food & drinks: Restaurants and bar walking distance is worth more than the hotel itself.
Lovely place and the young man that served us was very nice and plesant. It took nearly half an hour to serve a cold piece of Quiche which was quite a while for cold food Food & drinks: Took too long to bring food out
