Had Christmas Lunch and it was the best we have had in years. The food was nice and hot, the service excellent, the little touches of table cloths, table displays, crackers and staff taking photos if you wanted just added to the enjoyment. Excellent value for money. Staff even went out of their way to accommodate unbooked additions to the table next door to us. We were well pleased.
Great food. The Chinese Pork Belly was amazing. Well worth a visit. Good service. Enjoyed the visit.
Didn't realise you had to pre-book! So when told they were fully booked, a member of staff did help and found a free table available. So nice customer service, the food was fine, typical pub food and the cocktails were nice although they were out of ingredients on a few of the cocktails but the one they had was nice.
Family get together, 18 people,in back room! A big Thank You to Ryan,Ellie,Tom,& all Staff for their friendliness,& superb service, great food,& atmosphere!10/10Food: 5/5
They day we went the boiler had broken. Not sure how long it had been that way for. But it sure did dampen the atmosphere. Food was ok, not a fan of non plate plates though. Staff were very helpful and accommodating even down to finding out how thick the custard was. Thank you. Not bad all things considered though. Only 2 stars in main rating because of the boiler. Would have been a solid 4 otherwise.
Pretty standard family style pub with large amounts of seating and a pool table. The staff are polite and friendly. Limited local beers and a few taps have been off on recent visits. Decent parking out the front too and good outdoor seating.
Very disappointed arrived at 7.20pm and was looking to have food when asking for a menu and none at the table we were told the kitchen was closed as there is a 45minute wait and that means they will be working longer after the kitchen is supposed to close........ Half an hour another group turned up looked at the menu and staff walking passed it was a good 15minuts once they decided to be told that the kitchen was closed. Yes it's a pub but most people come up for food they should of told people when they entered that the kitchen was closed or at least a sign on the door.
Great Food and reasonably priced. We use this pub often for food and would recommend it. Also, friendly staff and great service.
Here in back room for family wake. Food was fine but room was dark and whole area needed reverb. Passed through main bar which looked ok. Lock on disabled loo broken.Food: 3/5
I had a Christmas lunch there with my colleagues from work. It is the third time when we are coming here but this time I was disappointed about the amount the food received and the food came cold for some of us. The quality is not the best and the price is expensive for what we received.
