We've passed a beautiful evening in this rustic risto pub. Highly recommended! Extremely good food and drinks, welcoming staff friendly and professional.
Went here for our sports club Xmas meal. Enjoyed a tasty Sunday roast dinner, a large plateful served with a good selection of vegetables. Good friendly service with Brakspear ales on tap. Superb value for money, worth a visit.
Such a great pub, the selection of beer offering a local selection as well as some of the usual suspects, best Guinness around. The homemade food is great local produce and good portion size you won't leave hungry. Special mention to Rob who always makes us feel welcome.
We had a meal here for my son’s birthday, we had a table for 7 people and I have to say the standard of the meal was as good as it gets, the young lady serving us was very helpful and friendly
Still as good as it always was. It's a local pub and deserves local support. Pub food is excellent and staff are brilliant. May it long continue.

Dog friendly pub. Big portions food and the staff are very friendly.
We went to have lunch here today but where told they were not taking orders for nearly an hour. This was annoying as we had ordered drinks and asked for a high chair so was obvious we wanted food. We were told a large party were arriving but they weren't there yet. We left our drinks as we had a hungry toddler to accommodate. Its a shame as we had walked to the pub and previously had excellent food and service there.
Helpful and friendly team. Did not eat but wish I did as it smelt and looked delish. Good WiFi if you are working from home and want a pint.
