This hotel is nice, but not what we were expecting based on all the hype on the website. We were expecting a room with a balcony with a view, what we got was a half of a balcony on the lower level with zero view. We had trouble with the Internet, we called and asked for help and it was never resolved. I called twice and we stayed 4 nights. We suspect the Internet signal may not have been good due to being below ground level? The technology is cool..... But we had random lights come on twice while we were trying to sleep.... Strange. The hotel is very quaint and charming. We had a great greeting when we first arrived..... But did not receive the same level of care with other staff members. We did really enjoy the mattress and large TV. The bathroom is a typical tiny London bathroom. Overall nice hotel and would recommend. Maybe we will try again in the future to see if we have a better experience.
The hotel was very clean. In a great location. All that said, they claimed they had a restaurant on the website. It was in fact a sort of restaurant. Breakfast that was continental. Anything more- room service, etc- was from a nearby restaurant takeout delivered in a box. Rooms are small. Light system a pain to figure out and no cable tv. No iron in the room. Not a great experience
Great location, 7 minutes’ walk from Victoria station and ideal to visit this part of central London by foot. Staff, and here special thanks to Nafisa, for taking great care of my stay. Room was quite, high ceiling, luminous and even bigger bathroom. Technology was on point to add every bit of comfort to the stay. Having a mini bar and breakfast is always a plus : Thank you and see you soon Rooms: Comfortable bed, amazing bathroom Nearby activities: Park, shopping, public transport Noteworthy details: Quite and 5-minute away from the huddle and bussle of Victoria station, a hidden gem
Stayed here during a business trip mainly for the location. It’s clean enough but the room they gave me was extremely tiny. I know a colleague who was staying in another room said her room was bigger than mine, but not by much. I’m not a big person 5’2”, but I felt very stuffed in that room. As soon as you open the door, the bed is in front of you. There is no other furniture besides a night stand, because they simply cannot fit anything else into that room. You can practically roll off your bed onto the toilet. I personally also thought the staff wasn’t as friendly or welcoming as I expected, which was a bit disappointing. They assured me that I would receive a copy of my folio in my inbox after I checked out, but didn’t receive it and had to call them internationally to remind them to do it I’m still waiting for it…. For a short stay and for business, it does its job, but it wasn’t my favorite stay in London and I travel there regularly.
An absolute gem. Beautiful hotel in a great location, really comfortable rooms with all the tech you could ask for! Very friendly service from Bruno and the team. Would highly recommendRooms: 5/5
The staff was lovely and extremely helpful, overall our stay was perfectly fine. Room was on the small side, but comfortable and clean. Access to Eccelstone Square is very nice and tranquil. Very quiet neighborhood for being so central, very peaceful nights sleep.Rooms: 4/5
We really enjoyed our stay here. The room was nice. The hotel was quiet. We really liked the staff. My only complaint is we thought the bed was too hard. I am used to a firm pillowtop but most hotels don't compare.Rooms: 4/5
I usually never post bad reviews but this time I cannot let it slide. The location is good, the room is alright however I have had the worst customer experience in a very long time: Nafisa at the front desk refused to come and witness the issue I had with my room, when i asked go speak to a manager she refused also and then when i was getting exasperated she started lecturing me on how to communicate when voicing out a complain and then she covered her ears. Had the other hotels around not be fulled I would have walked out of rhe hotel
The staff was helpful and friendly except when we were leaving on June 8 in the morning. The man at the front desk watched 68 and 76 year old people struggle to get bags down the front steps. The breakfast is not a good value. Unless you have an early start, go around the corner to DDK's. The location is GREAT - an easy walk to Victoria Coach Station and Victoria Station. The thing that was difficult to deal with was the room size. I didn't expect a large room but I didn't expect a broom closet. There was barely enough room to walk around the bed. Stay further out or pay more. I can't recommend the hotel.
Nice clean hotel with friendly staff and fancy automated rooms. Overall a nice hotel. …but the perfume scent running throughout the hotel is WAY TOO MUCH. If you’re allergic to, or just don’t like, those plug-in scent things then this hotel is not for you. It’s everywhere. Like someone got 10 new plugins and got carried away. Unfortunately I can’t tell you anything more as I spent as little time in the hotel as possible and preferred the ‘fresh’ London air outside instead.
