Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, you only have to ask. The area is leafy and quiet - there is no traffic noise in the rooms at the back. Fully carpeted everywhere, rarely heard anyone moving around. Very good value for money, one of the cheapest in the area - the excellent buffet breakfast costs £7.50 less than the price of a cup of coffee in the city! Our room was cleaned every morning and restocked with fresh towels, toiletries and tea/coffee. We will definitely be coming back and recommending the hotel to friends and family. Nearby activities: A pleasant five minute walk to Victoria Station, from where you can travel to anywhere in the City. We even walked back from Westminster abbey on our last morning - a lovely stroll.
We did not have a pleasant experience. I want to start off by saying most of the experience wasn’t due to the staff, they were very accommodating and nice. They let us keep our daughter’s milk in their fridge and accommodated my pregnant wife and her needs. The rooms are tiny. It felt like staying in a crammed box. There is zero access for accessibility. The staircase is narrow, the stairs are irregularly spaced, and it felt like any one of the steps could give anytime. The walls are incredibly thin. You can hear almost everything the room adjacent to you. Rooms were serviced at all hours of the morning. Workers were constantly slamming doors at 7am. Lastly, the icing on the cake, a neck pillow was stolen from our luggage while in the care of the hotel. They let anyone go in and out of the luggage hold and have no system to check luggage’s.
Good location near Victoria Station and 15 - 20 minute walk to Buckingham Palace and other sites. Room are very small, clean and appear to be recently upgraded. The shower was the best feature. I could literally touch both walls with my hands extended. It was clean, a comfortable bed and hot shower; so 3 stars for covering the basics. Service, well see my ratings
Staying at this hotel it was a beautiful experience. Right from the start, the staff made me feel welcome, and the room was super cozy and stylish. The location is great, with lots of cool spots nearby to check out. Everyone working there was super helpful, always ready with a smile and great suggestions for things to do. Breakfast was yummy, with plenty of options. Honestly, I'd definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfy and convenient place to stay in London. Great experience!
People were nice but wouldn’t stay here again. Upon arrival, our key fob wouldn’t work and it took them over 30 minutes to fix. Said it was a battery issue but saw other people having the same thing happen. Hair dryer didn’t work in the room, shower drain wouldn’t work properly, couldn’t adjust a/c room controls, and power sources would drain your battery instead of charging. Room was pretty banged up and repairs weren’t great. My husband and I woke up with pretty itchy bites on us. The location was nice to attractions.
Location was perfect, room was clean and comfortable with a good bathroom. Not great value but OK for London. BUT, bed was super short not good for us taller people, was in a cave like basement room with ugly view of lightwell, used for storage, buckets ladders etc. would cost nothing to tidy it up and put some flowers in. Remote control wouldn't switch off the TV and it was wired in with no visible power cable or off switch. Also asked for extra blanket which never arrived. Apart from this. I would stay again but probably ask for a different room.
Wonderfully located. One few places with multiple beds to accommodate our small family but do note there is no lift and wifi was not operating our entire stay. Cheap laundry service one load, not by kg at reasonable 12£ wash and dried. Will stay again. Rooms: Multiple beds but small modern bathroom. Noteworthy details: 12£ laundry service. Local Laundromat is 6£ wash only so very very fair and I had given them quite large bag of washing so well worth it.
We booked to stay from 14th June till 16th. We arrived at the hotel late evening on the 14th, around 2 o’clock early morning saw bed bugs crawling all over our beds. We stayed at room 306. I took a video and photo, flip the pillows found more bed bugs and even on the head board. Packed all our things and leave the premises as it is not suitable to stay. My daughter’s bed was also infested with bed bugs! The picture of the room in the website might look deceiving but don’t stay! This place needs to be fumigated and deep clean! Manager don’t even have the time to talk to us regarding the state of their hotel! This hotel don’t even deserve a 1 star Rooms: The rooms are small and beds comes with bed bugs!!!
DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL!!!! We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights May 29 to June 1 ,2024 with my family. The weather was cold so we were walking with jackets all the time and for sure I got bitten so badly by bed bugs in the room. The towels and bed sheets were used a lot bc I can see black spots on them. Both nights I could hear that someone was trying to open the door multiple times by mistake which woke me up. This for sure was recorded on the camera on the hallway unless it is not working. Overall only the desk person was nice but the rooms were in a pretty bad shape for the price we paid. The worst thing is that I am in a lot of pain and had to get the emergency room to be threatened for the severe poison I got. UPDATE 06/18 I am still fighting with poison from bed bugs. Rooms: This hotel needs to be destroyed it is full of bugs. Do not stay!!!
The room was very small, max stay suggested is for one or two nights. We found hair in the towels cleaned and there was dust around the room. The rooms/hotel is not soundproofed, we could hear the other guests in the next room and above and also from the street. The curtains were old and dirty and unfortunately they couldn’t close properly so the day light comes in. The location is great because you have London Victoria Station 5 mins walk.
