Nice hotel. Not the best but convenient in terms of right next to the lime street station. Relatively clean and well priced in terms of accommodation. Don't expect great things from the room. The service here was quite good and since I got there the day before a match it looked really full.

Uninspiring on the outside but nicely themed and decorated on the inside, The Liner is a comfortable hotel that is within strolling distance of Liverpool's most engaging attractions. The bed was a bit soft and the nearby Lime Street railway station was quite audible at night, but it was a good night's sleep anyway. It was clean, and the reception staff were efficient and friendly. The attached car park was very convenient too. Recommended.

We were amazed at the liner hotel.A great position in Liverpool, the front of the hotel looks really welcoming with its outside seating and flags flying. Inside the reception was great and the staff efficient. Our room was fifth floor with a view over lime Street Station which was interesting to see. We had no outside noise at all and We had all we needed in the room. Breakfast was on the first floor and it was plentiful and always topped up. Plenty of staff to assist. Downstairs you have a colourful bar which has plenty of tables and chairs to relax at and chill out, we were really impressed with the whole thing. It even has its own car park and attendants nxt door. Will return.

The hotel itself is a really pleasant place, I arrived late and instead of evening meal being served in the restaurant I was shown into the bar area where pub meals were being served. My 1st choice was not available, but the alternative chosen was delicious and a large portion at that. The atmosphere was akin to being in your own local pub, very nice and cosy. Rooms were very nice and comfortable. The courtyard to the hotel features an outdoor drinks and diner area which is Very popular with passing trade.

Stayed here several times. Always a good stay. Nice and central. Some rooms are overlooking the railway station. Not the greatest view but noise manageable. Personally I love the nautical theme and pretend it's a ship. Perhaps a bit kitsch for some but makes it more interesting.
