The title says it all, Aloft is a beautiful and historic building bang in the centre of a fantastic city. Pippa was an absolute star on reception, and the room was fantastic. Bar service was great from Michael as he made us our fantastic cocktails all throughout the night. The French martini is my favourite Breakfast was decent at Aloft but could easily be better, eggs were poor quality but the omelet made up for the scrambled eggs. Nights team were always willing to help a hand, especially when our electric went off at 1-2AM. Overall a great hotel and as mentioned above, it’s very central to all aspects of Liverpool life. Will be back again Rooms: My room was spacious on the -1 level, and was accessible for my girlfriend, absolute thanks to Pippa for the help Nearby activities: Aloft is well centralised and therefore is near every activity needed
We held our wedding here in the beautiful James Doyle suite. Everything was perfect. The staff were amazing and made sure our day was perfect. The rooms were lovely too. There is so much choice at breakfast also! I highly recommend Aloft Liverpool. Rooms: Rooms are decent sizes and air conditioned. We had a fridge in ours and the bed was huuuugggeee Nearby activities: All kinds Walkability: Bang in the centre of Liverpool. Close to all shops, bars, museums etc. Food & drinks: There is so much choice for breakfast. It's self serve and you can choose anything from cereal, toast, pastries, full English, muffins, charcuterie board. You can even make your own pancakes! Vegetarian and vegan options are also available.
Returned to Aloft to stay for Taylor Swift. As usual we had a brilliant time! The room was spacious and clean and the food and atmosphere in the bar was amazing. All the staff did brilliant even though they were really busy. Always so friendly and helpful. Love this hotel and will be back!
Such a beautiful hotel! The building is amazing there is so much history and the reception and bar area were open and spacious. Check in was easy, the gentlemen receptionist with glasses was very friendly and helpful! Our room on the 6th floor was so big and the bed was huge! Super comfy and welcoming, lots of nice tea and coffee in the room and virtually silent corridors which was amazing for a good nights sleep. Really highly recommend, we didn’t get a chance to check out the bar so hopefully we will be back soon for the whole experience!
Room wasn't the cleanest. Hotel has been in operation for 10 years and the room we had doesn't appear to have been updated since. Pillow cases didn't fit pillows leaving a quarter of the pillow hanging out. Shower head looked to have been made in the 50's. Walls had water marks from previous leaks. Window was too dirty to see out of. Just sad. Lobby and staff were lovely.
Had to ask for bathroom to be cleaned as was dirty when we arrived. We didn't need towels changed every day but they were as no way of asking not to! Short of staff so when they were serving food no one on the bar! Only choice of 3 white wines and ran out of Sauvignon Blanc for several days. No marmalade at breakfast and some cooked tomatoes would have been nice as some of us don't eat sausages and bacon! In spite of these complaints the staff were very nice and location good.
My partner got me a little staycation in Liverpool although we live in Liverpool albeit outside the city centre The hotel was fantastic, in a brilliant location in the heart of the city centre and next to the Moorfield station so you are able to escape outside into the South and north of the city if you want The rooms were amazing surprised as wasn't sure what to expect but it was amazing, clean, tidy and brilliant amenities. The customer service is 1st class and Pippa and the team were extremely welcoming. This was a birthday surprise but they surprised us with a nice room upgrade very unexpected and a lovely birthday card. Didn't expect this but it was a really lovely touch. Polite, attentive and a brilliant service, thank you it meant a lot. Lovely team on the front desk and the bar. Will definitely be staying here again and would definitely recommend to anyone else who wants to visit for the weekend or longer. The hotel is nice enough, but the room was incredibly tired and somewhat disappointing. Marks along the wall, carpet pulled up, stains in the shower etc it really could do with a paint job and refurbishment. It was clean but didn't have that 'wow' factor, I have seen nicer premier inn rooms.Rooms: 3/5
We got a great deal on the King Size Room, and it was a very large room too! Very big and comfortable king size bed. Huge window. Friendly staff. There's a pool table in the lounge. The hotel is very nicely situated, only a 5 minute walk from Liverpool ONE shopping center and around the same for bars like The Cavern club. Surprisingly quiet too despite the traffic outside. Highly recommended.
From Check in to Check out we loved our stay. Friendly Check in staff. Excellent customer service. Spacious room and a great night's sleep. Good breakfast. Conveniently located next to car parks and the city centre. Perfect stay for a trip to Anfield or to visit the many attractions in Liverpool. Rooms: Spacious. Comfortable and high ceilings. Brilliant power shower Nearby activities: Restaurants within a one minute walk. City attractions nearby Food & drinks: Relaxing bar in a perfect setting
