Only spent one night at this Hotel , my room was clean and comfortable, had a shower unit over the bath , flat screen TV did not use , teas and coffee, and kettle in room , a small fridge and safe did not use either. The room had one small to medium size window which only opened "" ajar"" the room was warm so needed fresh air to circulate , but you paid for noise disturbance throughout the night from outside people and vehicles , at 3 am I had to shut the window.the view from my room was a multi storey carpark. But for one night I coped. The hotel public places and corridors were clean and well lit with electric lighting , natural light not good, they have a spa and pool but did not use. The breakfast offered was continental and cooked English and I enjoyed it and it was tasty. 2 coffee machines on hand plus a toaster, every thing at breakfast is self service. All the staff were polite ,friendly and knowledgeable about the area. This hotel is family friendly, every were you go in this hotel you need your key card to open toilets and work the 3 main lifts as well as open your room door. For families I recommend. Personally I prefer a more quieter establishment but for one night only , it served my purpose.
It's is OK if you are just looking for clean rooms in sleep in. Room size is also OK for a family with 2 kids. But overall, the rooms are basic. Not a modern decorated room. Location is in the center and that is the only reason we liked it, otherwise we paid same price in a Manchester 4 star hotel for 5 nights with breakfast, but in Novotel we paid same for 3 nights no breakfast! Towels smell very bad! I don't know why. You feel weird using them! Another weird experience for someone who travelled to 28 countries and stayed in countless hotels. When we asked for rooms slipper, they said we have to pay because we are staying in regular room, and not an executive room! Seriously! This has never happened to me, even in 3 star hotels! I will definitely not return back. Also upon check in, for a room for 2 adults and 2 kids, we had 1 tiny shampoo and 1 shower gel! We had to call 3 times to ask for more. When you prepare a room please consider the number of guests and put items required accordingly.
This is decent place to stay in Liverpool. Location is good, however I would not recommend the paying for the breakfast -£ 18 / person as, it's not worth it. No options for vegetarians not are there any good selection of food. I would recommend a different hotel for this price and there is plenty in Liverpool. The hotel is opposite Hanover street hence in a crowded location with shopping malls, restaurants, bold street, hope street nearby. Everything is at a walking distance however, I didn't receive a room service even after asking for it,no complimentary water bottle provided, no body lotion neither is there any shower cap. Extremely basic, and doesn't stand true to be a Novotel that I have stayed in other countries. So, I would recommend other hotels in Liverpool with this price - not worth the money you pay. Walkability: Everything is at a walking distance. Food & drinks: Loads of food options around the hotel.
Good location with reference to the city centre down side there is no parking there was a pulling to drop your case's of this was hogged by a taxi meaning that we were had to parked in a side street to unload due to a lorry unloading at a supermarket this blocked the road of, not much on offer on the food menu. We are stopping due to the close proximity of the M&S Bank Arena. we're we went to see ELF.
Nice spot to stay, nice location, big rooms and decent breakfast. Only complaint would be that our toilet wouldn't flush during our 3 night stay and kept being reassured it was going to be fixed. Had to use the public toilets because it was such a joke, other than that all was good Rooms: 2/5
This is a great place. Right in the city centre. Private car park across the road. Serves decent buffet breakfast. Rooms are clean and tidy and modern. Beds are way comfy. Definitely would go backRooms: 5/5
We paid £60 for a double room. It was big. Had a bed settee in it as well so could have fitted 4. Great location. Clean. Friendly staff. Breakfast was £18 for full English buffet. A bit expensive I think but there's lots of options just a short walk away.Rooms: 5/5
Lovely hotel, nice room. Bed isn't very comfortable and pillows lumpy, but that is down to personal preference. Great location and lovely food in the hotel restaurant. Would definitely stay again.Rooms: 4/5
Superb, quick check in - clean room. Friendly staff, great in room TV ideal for plugging external devices in. Toiletries provided of a good quality - great price, even better location. Highly recommended
