"Mark, Louise, family and staff welcome you all to The Horseshoes Inn, family owned for over 30 years. A comfortable flagstoned pub with a local feel situated in the picturesque village of Rennington, just north of Alnwick.The traditional pub and restaurant is full of character. The pub itself dates back to 1841 and as the name suggests use to house the local blacksmiths, many of the features still remain inside.Our menu’s include as many locally sourced ingredients and produce as seasonally possible.We allow dogs in the bar area as well as the beer garden where they will be provided with water."

Beautiful old hostelry apologies for sounding like Alan Partridge! Great food for very hungry people. The portions are huge and the food is well cooked. Lots of free parking and really pleasant staff. We had the fish and chips and prawn and smoked salmon salad. Another table had sizzling chicken which looked amazing. Very well priced and worth a visit.
Had a Great time here. Booked a table need to book for food. Attractive Local family Pub in Rennington Village Main Street. Plenty of outdoor and indoor seating, Drinks served quickly and ice cold. Food was quick to be served too, was piping hot and plentiful portions are no less than Massive Huge portions, great food and very helpful Staff also, very friendly and chatty, but not intrusive, perfect balance on everything. Like stepping back in time in the best possible way. 5 Star from me and mine. Stopped in for lunch on Saturday. Party of 5. Superb range of beers on tap. Wife had rose wine which she said was delicious. Had smoked mackerel starter and Nachos starter to share. Steak pie, burgers, lasagne special and smoked salmon and prawns. All the food was fresh and good quality. Service very friendly. All in all a great place to stop in.
This venue deserves the benefits from positive reviews. Have never enjoyed a better dining experience. The food choice is excellent, quality first class and quantity if anything over generous and the daff very polite,friendly and on the ball. Will be telling many friends and family about this well kept secret in Northumberland, hope it keeps on providing such an enjoyable experience. Well done to all concerned.

We have thoroughly enjoyed our meal out. The food was fantastic, service was friendly and fast. Highly recommend coming here for some hearty grub.
Eaten here a few times, always a friendly welcome, fabulous food and great service. Recommend you call to book in advance as they can get busy but definitely worth a visit.
Went along on Saturday 15th April for a birthday lunch with the family …the food was outstanding and big portions …..the service was second to none from all of the staff…great friendly atmosphere…
Just had our evening meal here and Wow, great value, fantastic food and service. A must visit for anyone in the area
