Stayed here for our wedding night. We were given the warmest of welcomes. From all the small touches in the room to the hand delivered breakfast in the morning, everything was just perfection. The friendliest of owners & wee Jimmy the dog was just gorgeous. We hope to revisit again soon!Rooms: 5/5
Stayed in the Tack Room for the self catering option which worked really well for us as we cooked meals throughout our stay there. Hosts David and his wife were very friendly and welcoming and nothing was ever too much - the breakfasts were fantastic. My partner especially liked the black pudding! There is a lovely terrace where you can sit out and enjoy the sun and a private drink. We were also greeted by a friendly dog named Jimmy, he is also very welcoming! Perfectly placed in Alnwick within a good driving distance from many Northumberland attractions. Very clean and was cleaned every morning. The perfect hub. Would definitely recommend staying here if you are visiting Northumberland.
Fabulous in every way! Great location. The hosts have thought of everything you could possibly need and more. They are the warmest of hosts and the breakfast is cooked to perfection.
We enjoyed a 3 night stay in the Tack Room during March and can heartily recommend the Coach House. We loved the option of a B&B stay but with room to relax - this is not your standard B&B room. In terms of facilities, everything was top drawer - bed very comfortable, breakfast lovely great choice, shower superb. Location was perfect for us - close enough to walk into Alnwick but tucked away & nice and quiet.
Really super stay at a lovely place. Very friendly hosts, made us feel so very welcome. Our room was comfortable and very well maintained with classic decor. Definitely will be returning. Oh... And Bev's Victoria sandwich is amazing!

We enjoyed a two night break at The Coach House and everything from start to finish was first class , beautiful decor , magnificent breakfasts- on both mornings, David is the perfect host ,the perfect start to married life after our wedding in Alnwick… will be back very soonRooms: 5/5
Me and my partner absolutely loved our night at this beautiful b&b. We got an absolutely lovely greeting for the couple and their amazing little dog! Such a friendly couple make you feel so welcomed. Had such an peaceful sleep.The breakfast was absolutely unreal not had a better breakfast anywhere else and we’ve stayed in a lot of places.The couple are amazing and we will 100% be returning when we next down.totally would recommend to anyone :
Every thing about this B&B is superb, the room was absolutely spotless, very comfortable bed and couch, lovely AMBIENCE. David & Bev are lovely hosts very welcoming and friendly, the breakfast was exceptional, delicious loved my 2 nights stay, would definitely recommend it, and I will return, next year!Rooms: 5/5
As far as B&B's go, Bow House is the obvious choice in Alnwick! The owners are friendly, extremely helpful, and very relaxed--a distinguishing feature from those cast-iron grans who give you the hairy eyeball as soon as you forget to take your shoes off inside ; They also leave the premises during the day, so you actually feel quite private, but they provide number in case you are to require something. Cozy, clean, and a decent breakfast selection included. Would stay here again if ever in the area!
