I've been a patient here for some time 6+ years I've continually had terrible service from the receptionists which has been really disappointing and inconvenient. Recently, I was told I had lost access to my account over the phone because I hadn't been in touch with the service for the last 9 months. No desire to help or show any care or concern from the receptionists answering the phone. In the past, admin staff 'forgot' to refer me to a specialist service with an 18 month waiting list. I had no idea they hadn't referred me until I called back to check 1 year later. Please can someone who manages this service do something and give the staff some guidance or training? Until then i won't be recommending this service to anyone, please avoid at all costs. I have now switched GP
The staff are RUDE! Customer service training is required. The girl on the reception with braids today, 1/7/24 @ 9.17am is a prolific offender. I'm sick of it. I've been going to this surgery longer than some of them have been on earth. Your Practice Manager clearly isn't managing reception staff
The doctor called me to pick up a letter and sample test kit for today specifically. My brother came in today on my behalf to collect these, yet they turned him away and told they don't know what he is talking about and told him to come back next week, without even asking him my name or any other questions to investigate this. I tried to call them regarding this but was left on hold for over 15-minutes, while the hold audio kept repeating "You are called number 1 in the queue". I have been a with this GP for over 10 years, and it's only gone from worse to worse. Wasn't great when I joined, even worse now - very disappointing. Also reception staff are very rude, and careless about their job - you can find this out through one phone call if they decide to answer the phone. Once they had forgotten about me after checking in for an appointment and left me waiting in the empty waiting room for 30-minutes after the appointment start time, when I questioned my appointment, they had a sudden look of realisation and called the doctor, then I was seen instantly.
Don’t waste your time, receptionists are incredibly rude and will ruin your day. They’ll ask about your condition and the need to send photos before being able to see a doctor. Said they’d call me back about a ‘potential’ appointment but didnt hear back until the following day. Referred me to the chemist instead whilst my partner was suffering from seizures. Shut this place down absolute joke
They don’t listen now. Keep you waiting until you disconnect your call. This GP becoming sloppy with new faces!!! Disgraceful!!! They are not attentive on the notes you left on the repeat prescription.
Horrible service! 5th in the line and it took 50minutes to answer my call. Receptionist unprofessional, not even say ‘hi’ or ‘thank you’. Got an appointment for the morning and was never called back from the GP. I received a txt the day after…. I’ve never had a good experience with them for over 10 years. Luckily, I have private insurance and I don’t need them that much. They are a disgrace for the NHS
Impossible to see my GP in person. Triarge never calls despite an all-day phone appointment. Call reception to chase this and all they can do is make a note. No reschedule.
It’s a good GP. Be picky about which receptionist to service you. All of them are lovely except for the chubby young black woman, the rest are wonderful.
Best GP surgery I’ve ever belonged to. Always get back to you in a timely manner when requesting online. Reception staff always very efficient and they even organised for me to have my first vaccine done when I was out of town in a far away location. Always sort repeat prescriptions efficiently and sort out errors quickly if any are made. Pharmacist is always on the ball. No complaints from me.
phoned for an appointment at 8:30. Doc called me back early afternoon, said when can you come in and I was seen straight away. Couldn't be better.
