The doctors here are genuinely brilliant and attentive to the patients they serve, however I have never met such a rude reception team. It’s a shame the reception team bring this place down. Members of the reception team need to realise and appreciate that they are not trained in triaging and should therefore not try and tell patients what they should do before giving them the chance to speak to a medical professional. You are not getting paid enough to gate-keep the appointments. Will be registering elsewhere
At first I called the office a week before to book an appointment to remove my stitches, they were very rude telling me that there was no availability before two weeks, I had a seven-day deadline to remove them. They made me an appointment and told me to come in and maybe they would remove them. I arrived and the secretary not even looking at me told me to sit in the waiting room. I waited for an hour and finally got in. The very nice nurse was elderly and couldn't even get a good look, she asked me how many stitches I had on my wound. Once she was done she asked me if I still saw stitches. It is not my job, but I had to check for her. I asked for a certificate to give to my manager for sick days, always very rude in the secretary's office they told me I had to make an appointment with the doctor and the first availability was in a month. I just needed a card stating that I had stitched up and removed from them, but they were really bored when I asked them for information. When I got home I had to remove stitches myself from the wound. This was my first and terrible experience. I will definitely change Gp
Don’t know if there are too many complaints regarding the receptionists but today when I called the person her name is Amran I think was really nice. If this is a connection for these two things then I would say google comments actually work! They are trying to improve their services I hope that is the case.
Change the whole reception team! They are incredibly rude and absolutely incompetent. They should be working in Karen's Dinner restaurant but not in a GP practice where kindness, understanding and professionalism is a must!
Quick & efficient in getting appointment & our Doctor was very attentive and caring. Special thanks to Amran for going above and beyond in coordinating for our appointment, really appreciate the same.
Amran and Dr Angela were lovely and very accommodating. The practice has always been very quick to see me—genuinely a great experience every time I need to come in.
Receptionist staff are exceptionally rude. called one time as I was on call with a doctor and the receptionist refused to help me get back into contact and told me I just had to wait in a rude way and hung up on me.
If you could choose another GP, just choose another one. The receiption staffs here are really rude. This was my experience last time. This time, the staff here is good and patient.25 May I will continue to keep updating. 12th Sep,2022 My second time to try to find help from this GP. It is an urgent thing. And it seems always so many people that you have to wait for at least 2 weeks.
Got a call from William the pharmacist today about my asthma review. He was very helpful explained i detail the rwason i have tonuse certain pumps which i was unaware of. Also discussed my other medication he gave great advice. Very helpful explained things clearly so I understood and advised what to do which I will definately be following. Thank you William
Doctors are mostly good, reception staff are extremely rude and short. People in the UK are from different countries where procedures may not always be the same. I was unable to find information on the internet for a minor yet very specific thing and when I phoned the practice to clarify, the receptionist was so utterly rude and unprofessional, practically deriding me for not having done something else first. Well I didn't know about it, and I'm calling to ask -- sarcasm, aggression, and rudeness isn't going to solve it! Glad to note others have voiced similar opinions.
