Had complications after coil IUD insertion. When I called them about it, they were unhelpful. Refused to do anything and referred me back to my local GP because I'm an outpatient. My GP helped me get a scan to confirm that the coil had been inserted incorrectly by Kings College. Called King's College again to get an appointment to remove, upon recommendation of my local gp, and re-inserted correctly. However, again King's College referred me back to my local GP saying I need to go through my GP to book an appointment. Even my local GP think this is ridiculous and completely unhelpful. My GP have now referred me elsewhere and managed to book an appointment today.
I have been registered here for more than 3 yrs. Staffs are always super friendly, I did a minor surgery this time and it takes shorter time than I expected and even helped me to take the cyst out from the same area. The PATCH system is always working and whenever I make a phone call it is always available. The online patient information is also super helpful for tracing back the information.
Just had a blood test done by Cassandra and she was absolutely amazing! The least stressful blood test I've ever had, she was really kind and distracted me. Great GP overall.
I had my contraceptive implant removed. The nurses were incredibly kind and made me feel very comfortable when seeing I was nervous. The procedure took one minute and she was really gentle and quick!!
DR Shereya Patel, Thank you for today’s appointment. You are very professional and gave clear instructions/ways I could help improve my asthma and respiratory issues. I felt very confident and secure in your care. With your knowledge and wisdom I now feel optimistic in improving my health. Kindest Regards Arral Smith
The care I've had at this practice has always been excellent, but their new booking system is awful. You now fill in a form that is only open between 0800-1400 and even though it is not a live chat, you can't fill it in any other time. It took me 2 months to remember to fill it in during the correct time period the first time. The second time I managed to remember to fill in the form within the allowed times, I wasn't allowed because they'd had too many forms filled in that day already, which is baffling. Then, even if you prefer not to conduct business by phone, someone calls you with zero care about whether it's convenient and you have to go back and forth looking for an available time with whoever they think you need to see. No online and visual option seems to be available, and you don't get to choose who you see. When they get it wrong and have to call back to arrange an appointment with the person you asked for in the first place, that's another inconvenient phone call again in the middle of the working day. You used to be able to book online, and see a list of available appointments in the next two days which was so much easier and quicker all around, even if it took a couple of days to get an appointment. It would even be better if I just had to phone because then at least I could make the call at a time that's okay for me. This system combines the worst parts of online and phone booking. I'd be interested to know how many patients just give up trying to make an appointment, and the practice never knows. I've managed a single phone GP appointment since the new system came in. Edit: it is 1140 and their form is already closed for the day.
Staff very informative, professional and kind/showed care throughout my mini op appt. Afterwards I felt unwell. This aftermath was managed exceedingly well by non-clinical and Clinical staff who approached me directly and/or assisted indirectly. I was dealt with professionally, in a timely and compassionate way. I felt safe although in a vulnerable position, my privacy and dignity were maintained. A huge thank you to all the staff at the service, I appreciate your help and support. Great staff makes a great service, would recommend to all.
Shreya Patel is great pharmacist. I would highly recommend her. She is very friendly, approachable. Highly recommend!
I've been denied healthcare for about a month, since Paths.ai is an inefficient and ridiculous system. Beyond this, I was unilaterally deregistered from King's GP without even being told. I had to call 111 for actual healthcare. I get that there are major resource constraints, but being constantly told by a poorly-operating online portal that I just need to 'try again later' again and again is just not right. If you are going to deregister one of your students, PLEASE make sure that they at least know? Patchs.ai just doesn't work, and students are suffering as a result.
KCHS as an institution itself does not really seem to care that much but miss shreya patel is an angel who made my day - so competent and approachable, genuinely seems to care about her patients and willing to go the extra mile so 5 stars for her
