The receptionist are nice and understanding. Though it's a bit hard to always find appointment even if your in need of emergency. Good doctors there for children. Other than that, GP is excellent and have been with them for years, they also have an app you can use for anything you need from them in case there unreachable and someone will contact you back via telephone consultation.
Good customer service. They do respect appointment times. I wish it was easier to get an appointment to see a GP. You can never plan your appointment and they only give you appointments for the day as long as you are lucky enough to get one by calling at 8AM.
Has really gone downhill as of late. Multiple times my medication was sent to the wrong pharmacy and it seems that every call i've had through Dr IQ, they dont listen to me, ask questions I've already answered, or ignored a concern. I often have to go back mulitple times for the same concern since proper attention isnt given the first time. When I first registered, there was great attention given to my health, now I feel hopeless.
Was a decent practice when I first registered only moved because Borough Medical Centre closed. Now it’s nigh on impossible to get an appointment. They communicate through the Dr iQ app but don’t seem to know how it works for patients. They palm you off with a response of “go to XYZ” and that either doesn’t exist at all or doesn’t allow you to do what they’re asking of you. They also sent my medication to the wrong pharmacy. It took several phone calls over 2 days and me physically waiting in the pharmacy for the physician to sent to the right pharmacy.
Doctor cooper was indirectly rude, I was late for 5 mins which I apologised, we talked for 2 mins as my problem did not seem significant to him and he made it clear that if I wanted to talk about it deeply then I should have been earlier which is true. But not even a month ago I had to wait 25 mins in reception to be seen after all the struggles of getting an appointment with the GP.
Elly has been so helpful in co-ordinating appointments at the best times, helping me find what support I needed elsewhere where required. Highly recommend the surgery and thank you Elly.
This GP surgery is perfectly fine. Been a couple of times, when I managed to get an appointment, and everyone was friendly and efficient.
After more than 30 mins waiting by phone trying to get an appointment for my baby, they told me that they don’t have anything left for today, I called at 8am is a pity. This basically happened every time that I try yo get an appointment. They suggested me to go to Emergency if I’m concerned…. So think about this if you are thinking to mo to this practice.
I already reviewed this with one start. If was possibiele I would give -5! I am 9 months pregnant. In the last 3 months I have been in touch with the GP to order medications that have been prescribed to me by the doctor at the hospital. All the three times, 1 it took ages for have them taking the request first you have to fo through the app, then you have to call, then they ask you to send an email! 2 all the three times the medication was sent to the pharmacy and NO ONE cared to let me know - even if they say "we will email you/call you". This last time has been 2 weeks I was waiting for something I needed, and they simply didn't care. I had to chase them up and they just said "uh, is at the pharmacy already". This is NOT wat a GP surgery should be like, and I believe someone should go and check on them, because is NOT OK to treat people like this.
I have been with this practise for a year and can safely say I have not once had a pleasant experience. They seem to insist people use their app however this either doesn’t work or you get notifications telling you one thing when the opposite has happened in my case renewing my prescription, or not as it seems. Talking to the receptionist is not helpful at all, they have been quite rude in my experience.
