We come here every year during our winter getaway! A proper local, with friendly staff and owners Gary and his son; very friendly patrons who always chat to us.nnOften have events on, live music, darts competition and quizzes. A great selection of local drinks and hearty pub grub in the restaurant.
What a lovely, typical cornish country pub, set in idyllic surroundings on the village green. There is plenty of choice on the drink front. Food was spot on, and the staff were friendly and attentive. Would recommend a visit.
Great find. Best meal we've had all week!! Fitted us in last minute for a meal for 5. All the food was proper home cooker fresh delicious food!! Wonderful staff who checked on us and making sure everything was OK for everyone. If we are ever back in the area we would definitely visit again and recommend to anyone.
Absolutely a hidden gem, food was great and reasonable priced and plenty of it so be warned!nnStaff made us feel very welcome and also very friendly and down to earth.nnPlease don't expect a modern country pub this gem is very much a local pub and very old. Will be back again thats for sure!
Great pub in a lovely village. A warm welcome from the bar. Locals enjoying a lunchtime pint. Well kept ales. A nice front garden overlooking the green, with pleasant views all around. What's not to like?! Drop in after a nice walk.
