Reception staff lovely. Bar staff were Rude obnoxious curt unfriendly unprofessional.. considering it was a Saturday night at 9.30, few drinks in the bar before we went out for a friend's birthday. Some youth in a puffer jacket with his hood up ringing the bar bell saying basically right everyone out we assume he worked there cos he then went round the back . Everything seemed too much trouble for the bar staff . Felt like as if we were intruding . Never in my adult life have a felt so unwelcome in a place of business !! Premier inn you need to do better!!
Waited for 15 minutes to be seated for breakfast only to be told that there was no availability without a booking. We weren't warned at any point when checking in or otherwise that this was likely, every other premier inn I've stayed at has supported breakfast walk-ins. People that had a booking still had to wait 15 minutes, despite the presence of plenty of unoccupied table, just for somebody to take 30 seconds to seat them. Will not consider this hotel again if staying in the area.
Nice clean rooms, comfy bed, plenty of parking. Handy location, 20 minutes to Eden Project, hour to Penzance. Asda with a petrol station next to it. Staff were friendly and helpful both in the restaurant and the hotel. Breakfast was quick and awesome. Definitely recommend for a visit to Cornwall
Stayed for 4 weeks due to work close by . 4 different rooms - no phone signal in building and every room RUBBISH wifi. I asked to upgrade to be told they do not upgrade only basic wifi. Last room smelt damp and fusty like an old tea towel! Good breakfast make sure to get bacon well done . The guy who runs the restaurant on a night never stopped definitely deserves a pay rise . Also the lass on the reception was fantastic !with piercing can't remember her name
Fairly old premier inn but great location and service. Fast ev chargers over the road. Great pasty shop in the car park. Pub on site closes at 10pm
