The Hole in the Wall, debtors prison between 1749 and 1779. Families of the prisoners would pass food through a hole in the wall, which is where the name comes from. The Pub is full of memoriabilia and there is a stuffed lion in the courtyard.

It's a very friendly hostelry . 
With a huge range of real ales . Which are kept pristine. 
The decore and  artifacts  are full of history along with some more unusual artifacts? 
Steve the landlord is a hive  knowledge,  pertaining to all of the above.
I thoroughly recommend a visit..
