Great location for nature walking. Quaint hotel
If you love spiders then definitely come and stay! Heating doesn't work, spiders everywhere and there is a damp smell But I must say the staff were friendly and tried their best to suck up the 6 spiders in my room... Heating nothing was done about it, I got 1 free drink at the bar.
Very good hotel at sefton park with bus service.
Very nice hotel, friendly staff, good food, lovely ambience. Opposite Sefton Park for a wonderful stroll for peace and quiet.
The room was tiny, but only there for a night so livable. The worst part was being at the front of the hotel, where the light over the sign was left on all night, with less than great curtains. In fact, it felt as though we were sleeping with one of the lights on in the bedroom. Thank goodness for my eye mask. Remember to take yours!
Positives: Beds are really comfy. Staff are very polite & friendly. Breakfast is great value for money. Negatives: No air con in rooms so very hot. Room was very noisy... Water pipes or boiler or service lift?
