Amazing price for the facilities provided, very clean, friendly helpful staff. They provide a booklet containing, bus and taxi information, local sites to visit etc. On arrival our room wasnt quite ready as we were earlier than planned so we had a cuppa while waiting. It only took 5 minutes. The room was spacious, we had booked their only ground floor room due to my disability. It had a double bed with crisp white bedding, i asked for additional pillows which were given straight away. We had crisp clean white towels and instructions on how to get fresh towels daily, our room was cleaned daily, and tea and coffee restocked too. If you, like us simply needed somewhere to lay your head at night because you were out sightseeing all day and partying all night then Snooze is perfect. Parking around the back is free. My advice is to use Uber not taxi for town as cheaper and safer as they send you details of which car is coming and you can track its arrival. Will definitely stay here again for next trip to Liverpool
Good value for money, next to the bus stop, friendly hosts, rooms are clean and warm. The room we had was quiet, viewing the back alley. They have a breakfast room with essentials: bread, tea, cereal, milk.
Very good value for money. If you are looking for an inexpensive accommodation near Liverpool centre, definitely recommended. The city centre is just 10-15 mins by bus or taxi, so not a big problem. The rooms are clean, which is important, but very basic, which is ok, given its price. There is breakfast, not cooked, juice, milk, tea, coffee, cereals, bread and jam. Briefly met the owner, very polite. Definitely recommend it for a budget getaway to Liverpool.
Great rooms - think small studio apartment. Comfortable bed, tv, iron and ironing board. Kitchen: 2 ring hob, microwave, kettle, fridge and dishwasher! Breakfast is fresh pastries, muffins and fruit from reception take out or take back to your room - there's nowhere to sit down and eat downstairs where you can top up tea and coffee supplies for your room
I stay here every week for work and I can't fault it great value for money, close to the station plenty of shops near by. Large clean room and to be able to have the use of the kitchen 24 hours a day is great and the lads are always helpful when I call them for anything.
To start off, we had to let our self into the hotel and room and i got a text saying there was no one working in the afternoon. As we walked in it was just total disappointment, the walls are cracked and in some places and it really needs a good coat of paint. We got to our room and it was the same story in there, walls cracked needs painting window ledges can be lifted up, massive holes in the wall where the tv wires come out of. Windows full of black mould, half the furniture was wobbly and looked like it was going to fall apart. The carpet had hundreds of stains and marks on it. In the bathroom the shower door didn't close properly so the water just leeked out all over the floor, the work top at the back of the sink was not stuck down and had gaffer tape hiding the chips and dents. Most of the mastic was cracked. The tv only had about 10 rubbish channels on, even when i retuned it there was no joy. Got told that there would be someone on reception untill 3/4 but we only saw 1 person in the morning and he was gone way before 3pm and on the last day there was no one even there in the morning. The toilet in the breakfast area had a few tiles missing under the sink. The breakfast area was nice but again needed painting. And the bread was out of date on the last day, with no one to ask if there was any fresh bread. Overall the stay was horrid and the rooms do not look nothing like the pictures. So i would advise you all not to stop here as you will be disappointed.
Simple and effective. The staff were all really nice and friendly. You can get into town well by either bus or Uber. Bus do not except contactless so make sure you have some smaller change available to you for tickets. The rooms were all clean and tidy and the staff offer you fresh towels etc each day too :
Not quite sure how to start this...... We went for the weekend, we were greeted with a locked door, not a good start but when it was opened the lady apologised as she was getting rooms ready, so this was forgiven, as she was really lovely and very helpful with taxis, etc. We were up in the rafters and at the back of the place, which at night was great away from the main road. On our way up, we noticed that it was as clean as the lady could get it but really needs a cash injection and bringing back to life with a good lick of paint and tlc! We arrived outside our room, 5....door handle and surrounding looked very tired, with the doors being old, looked like it had been replaced with the wrong handle and lock. We opened the door to find a tidy room and huge bed, great first appearance.... Unfortunately, on closer inspection, we found it not so great Stains on the curtains, plug socket next to TV not working, desk top flaking off, only one side light, Stains on walls and a few on the ceiling. Hadn't got to the bathroom yet.... That's got its own ecosystem! Stains on the ceiling, broken tiles, holes in the door that had been filled but looked hideous, and MOULD.... Untold amounts of mould in and around the shower and dust build up on the vent! Yuk ! I got ready for our evening out, sat at the desk on the only chair and when I moved back on it it fell apart and collapsed from under me! This we reported to the lovely lady, but nothing was done about it. We didn't see anyone else the entire time to report or complain to. We only saw a man when we handed our key back. Didn't get a thanks for staying or how was your stay.... We just wanted out! Pay a bit more and stay nearer town!
Great rooms, well maintained and spacious. Breakfast is fairly basic, but tasty, and they allow you to eat takeaways in there provided you don't make a mess, which is fantastic as Picton has them a-plenty!
Deceiving from the outside, rooms are quite nice. Bed is good. Bad points are, no shower gel, shampoo, etc. Parking is crowded and in an alley. Half rooms facing a main street, so very noisy.
