I stayed here for one night during a conference at the University of Liverpool just after Easter weekend this year. DO NOT MIX UP with the old "Liverpool Inn" building further up on Mount Pleasant! This one is right down near Liverpool Lime Street and next to a William Hunter bookies. Despite being right at the centre of Liverpool, the rooms are at the back of the building and it's SO quiet! I slept like a baby! And the lady at the front desk was lovely! I had no problem checking-in a bit early cause my room was ready, and I could leave my luggage while I went up to the conference and collected it later. Very cosy and really near to everything.
Friendly staff... I was there as a contractor from solid state security servicing their fire alarm the lady on reception made me a brewwhich is rare yeah...nice placeRooms: 5/5
Staff were very welcoming. Everything was very clean. There was a beautifully kept roof garden to look at but no access. The windows were sparkling even in our room, which I would say is hard to get to. The windows. Not the room! The location was brilliant. Very central. I would have no problem recommending this little hotel. It wouldn't be my first choice for staying again but that's only because there was no lift. I would stay here again. I have no photos of my own as i had no issues, and the online photos are cleverly taken. Rooms: We booked a small double that was 'upgraded' to a larger room, which had a double/king bed and two singles. I could pick holes in this, but the bedding was non pressed and clean, so I don't think it's necessary to complain about the decor being a bit dated. It was fine for us. In the winter, perhaps a heavier duvet or a blanket? I get very cold feet. The ensuite was clean and had all the usual you would expect. There was no outlook through our shiny windows. A red brick building which wasn't an issue for us. However, it was noisy. We slept well the first night. I think perhaps as we had been travelling and were so tired. The second night was more disrupted. Not from traffic. I had thought it could have been from a laundry, but perhaps not all night. It was that sort of 'droning' sound. Walkability: Walkability to the shops and bars - very close. Walkability within the building - none. Stairs only which took you to the reception/bar or the second floor corridor to your room. No lift available. Noteworthy details: No lift available. I hadn't noticed this detail before I booked.
love it. room is clean, spacious, good location, safe and quiet. we arrived earlier than planned, they let us in and gave us our room. they even lend us their phone to make a call to paris for our upcoming trip! they been very nice and lovely. highly recommend !
Once we found it, it's just a door and then up some stairs. The gentleman that let us in was very welcoming and chatty. Showed us to room. Room was very spacious and lovely ensuite. Beds really comfy. The only problem I had was the green light that is on in the garden till 330am left a lovely green glow above the curtain. I have to have pitch black to sleep. Would stay again but ask for a different side of the hotel Nearby activities: So close to everything about 10 mins walk from the station and the shops are not that far to walk.
Not worth it... Room n3 is very noisy as it is located just behind a restaurant. At check-in, I was assured by a member of staff that the exhaust noise that I was hearing was supposed to stop at 11pm which of course it didn't... it continued through the night!! My wife has migraines and it was impossible for us to relax during the night! Really disappointed with that. Was a busy night and the hotel was full so was not possible to get another room. At least it was what they told me. Maybe if you go there make sure to say that you don't want to stay at room 3!! Good location. Room was clean
A prime example of don't judge a book by it's cover! The outside of this hotel isn't the most appealing but the inside is wonderful. The rooms are bigger than your average hotel, and so clean with all the amenities you need. The staff are also really lovely and this place is much bigger than it looks on the inside! Would definitely consider staying again.
It was ok end of the day it's somewhere to stay and it's central to where we needed to go Rooms: 3/5
Best Inn of its kind I've stayed so far - very clean and central location. Large King size double bed and sizable restroom. Tiny but nicely kept courtyard. Absolutely value for money. Will surely choose it if I go to Liverpool again.Rooms: 5/5
Booked for a night out with my friend, lovely room and service, super nice staff, amazing price, couldn’t ask for anything better. Will defiantly book again!!! Walkability: Just up the road from Liverpool central and around the corner from the grand central hall
