This is a very good place to spend a few nights in London away from the City Hustle with lots of shopping & food options. The rooms are cozy with complementary water, coffee & tea, cookies, fruits, clean kettle, nice bathroom & toilet, good closet with bathrobes, footwear, locker, work table and not to forget lift to every floor so you do not have to carry your luggage to your room. The linen is very neat & clean. Rooms smell good. The room temperature is set as per your requirement. Breakfast is complementary & is good Rooms: Cozy Neat All basic amenities are covered Nearby activities: Shopping - wide range of variety Food - Variety of cuisine Safety: Very safe Has a locker Walkability: Close to Baywaters & Queensway train stations Food & drinks: Wide variety available
Although the room was compact and bijou, it was a lovely building, located in a quiet area of Notting Hill close to the Bayswater shops and tube. We only used the room as a base and would stay here again if we were doing the same type of thing as we did this time. The room was very clean, as was the ensuite. The ensuite was also on the small side, but we were able to do what we needed to. The breakfast was nice with a selection and choice of cereals, pastries, cooked items, and toast done on a buffet help yourself style. With tea, coffee and juices. It is walking distance to shops, the tube and also bus routes. I would recommend a stay here if you were using this as a base. Although I understand that there are bigger rooms you can book. The customer service here is excellent, and we felt the staff were friendly and accommodating.
Great quiet neighborhood, subway is less than a 10 minute walk. Our issue was with the room, very small and cramped and a weird layout, had a second door right when you walked in blocking the sleeping room. Didn’t have a door stop either. With our two luggage bags the room was super cramped. The shower is SMALL and the door didn’t shut all the way. I’d say if you’re taller than 5 8 you’re going to feel claustrophobic. Also since we were on the ground floor our window was frosted with no natural light coming in.
Terrible place!! The Premier Inn Notting Hill is unsafe. Particularly for single women. In making this booking, both Booking.com as well as the premier inn at Notting Hill failed to advise me that a Caribbean festival would be taking place in Notting Hill. This led to a huge influx of people in the area. It also meant that several roads were blocked off. My plane landed late and the taxi driver was unable to drop me off at my hotel due to this festival and the resulting road closures. I had to walk more than a half a mile with two suitcases alone in the middle of the night to get to the premier Notting Hill. Surrounded by strangers drinking alcohol and using cannabis in the street. Upon arrival I noted the door lock on my room to be loose. But was still able to secure it. The room was dirty and smelled heavily of cannabis. I barely slept at all that night but knew I had to as it’s hard to look for a new hotel at 2AM. I was constantly hearing sounds outside of my door and what sounded like someone trying to enter my room. As a single woman travelling alone abroad, this was a horrible and traumatic experience. The following day I located a homeless man smelling of marijuana sleeping in the lobby. I requested to check out early due to fear of my personal safety. Forfeiting four additional nights. When I asked the manager for the early checkout and subsequent refund she denied it stating that my booking was non-refundable. The manager did not seem to care about my safety concerns. Booking.com is doing a tremendous disservice to solo women travelling. You should be ashamed to have this hotel on your website. I
Very clean and nice accommodation, friendly and kind staff and abundance of food at breakfast time. I stayed 4 nights and if should return to London, for sure, I'll check for availability there. Very quiet location with a good choice of ethnic restaurant nearby and two underground stations at less than 10 minutes away.Rooms: 4/5
I stayed in a single room last October and while, yes, it was quite small and had no real window, we were out and about so much that I didn't mind. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the hotel is in a fantastic location, just a short jaunt from the Bayswater Station and a very cute little coffee shop where we nabbed a latte and a pastry before adventuring for the day. I would absolutely stay here again!
One of the worst hotels I've had the misfortune to stay in. At first it looked good but the rooms were awful. Tiny, dated decor and my room had fake windows since it was a basement. It had air conditioning like a godamn plane. When I tried to change rooms the man was defensive, arrogant and rude. Thankful for changing to a better hotel even though it was a 3 star. This one doesn't even warrant a 2 star let alone 4. I'm thankful I managed to change hotel. And what's worse is they charged me double, so they'd better pay me back. I had an important meeting the next day and it really changed my view of London. I vow to be successful so I can afford better hotels
I thought it would be a good location but it’s actually very far from everything in London that you’d want to visit if you’re a tourist. They gave us a basement room which did not match the booking listing I paid for. The room smelled of mold and mildew So Badly that I was getting nauseous every night in the room. There was no windows in our room as they stuck us in an old basement room. The smell of the room was so bad we kept avoiding going back to the room except to try and sleep at night. I booked a room with windows, the room they gave us is not even shown as an option on the site. I was so disappointed with this booking. I would never return to this hotel and do not recommend.
Fantastic location, quiet, central, upscale. Efficient and nice service. As this is an old Victorian house, room quality varies. I had a nice bright room and could sleep with an open window, which was perfect. Very clean. The rooms are very small. Would returnRooms: 4/5
I recently stayed here and had such a great time. I originally had a single room, which is obviously on the smaller end but exactly what is to be expected. The staff are super helpful as well. Milagris was especially helpful when I needed to switch rooms when I had another guest join. He upgraded my room free of charge, which was amazing. The breakfast is super convenient and had quite a range. The location is also great as the tube and many buses are nearby. I would stay here again.
