I stayed at this hotel recently, and while there were some positive aspects, there were several concerns that families with young children should be aware of before booking. Pros: The location is excellent, very central and convenient for exploring London. The Junior Suite we stayed in was spacious, which was a nice touch for a city hotel. Cons: The crib provided for my baby was completely unacceptable. There was no mattress at all, just two metal bars. I spoke to reception multiple times to explain that a proper mattress was needed as travel cribs typically come with one, but every time, they only brought sheets. It was frustrating and felt absurd. There was no microwave available to heat up baby food. When I asked if there was one in a common area or lounge, I was told the hotel doesn’t have microwaves for safety reasons. But no alternative solution was provided for warming my baby’s food. Additionally, we had to use the sofa bed, and to our surprise, both the fitted sheet and duvet had large stains, which was quite disappointing. Noise: As mentioned in other reviews, the sound from the underground/tube is noticeable and can be quite disruptive, especially during early mornings or late evenings. Overall, while the location and room size were great, the lack of basic amenities for families and cleanliness issues left a lot to be desired.
Lovely hotel just steps away from bayswater and queensway tube station. Very close to a long street of restaurants - you can find all kinds of food you crave for. We got the junior suite which is a good size. The room is nicely decorated but the bathroom and the tub is a bit small. Other than that i got nothing to complain about. The hotel is fully accessible without stairs so its very good for travelers with big luggages.
Lovely customer service and great location. The rooms are tidy, impeccable. However, the size is really small. You cannot walk comfortably there, it is just to go to sleep, roll to the bathroom and then roll back to bed, that’s how small it is.Rooms: 4/5
Rude staff. From the moment we arrived. Day one.. Someone opened our locked door on multiple occasions, once whilst we were getting dressed and ready for dinner. We complained and were told “it was a guest from a nearby room who made a mistake” I said: “But why does their key open our room??” They couldn’t answer. I believe it was one of the staff members. The electronic DO NOT DISTURB sign does not work, and we told the staff this morning not to disturb our room. We assume they believed we were out and wanted to see in our room. Now we are stuck in our room as our possessions are not safe and secure with the door being opened multiple times whilst we have been in the room. My wife also does not feel safe if the staff or other guests can just unlock the door at any moment. Disgusting… oh and the cockroaches in the bathroom are also pretty disgusting! Safety: It is dangerous that random guests or staff members access your room without knocking. It happened multiple times today. Once when we were getting dressed, someone just opens the door!! Terrible.
It’s really bad the room really small and have corridor that we can not open our luggages. As it’s double room but we cannot put our 2 big 2 small in the room. If we put it all, we don’t have space to walk either at the corridor or open the door of room. We paid £180+ for this kind of room in few nights, we unexpected which is small than the hotel on same street very much. And the hotel room rate is lower than this hotel in half price £Further more they change us to the other room, the 2nd room is also not in good condition. We have to go 2+6 steps every time to the room and the room has not one chair at least. The fringe does not work, the kitchen light does not connecting well. We also cannot open our luggage, if we need open, we cannot walk in the room space. I expressed and informed our opinion but need to wait next day morning whether to solve the problem. We raise to cancel the booking for the coming nights of course they cannot let us and no refund the rest room nights. I am so disappointed that I paid such amount and the service and condition worse than I stayed one night at the next hotel of them on a day before I stay at this hotel. I won’t stay at this hotel again I promise.
Awful hotel for the price! Staff have no experience in handling a situation just like robots don't use they disaggregation to just make a decision and make customer happy. So after paying £140 for one night no breakfast included, try to put us in basement, said wasn't happy then said pay extra £30 for different room and £20 extra for dog to stay. Even though on website say nothing about charge but understand that so wasn't fussed. So extra charge for room the £170 still not breakfast so I asked could add it should been £10. Breakfast isn't worth £10 anyways was no hot food. Just all cold stuff and abit of toast. Rooms are very small and noise is awful as can hear the tube as right underneath. This hotel shouldn't be charging these prices for hotel can't sleep in and breakfast is so basic.
I booked this place because the reviews were good! It is also in a good area with tons of restaurants- 2 tube lines and many other hotel options. However, the junior suite is tinier than a regular room. We booked the suite because we were 3 people and the description indicated I had a second bed but it was not even a pull out sofa! We could barely walk in the room with our 3 suitcases! The area is noisy and I happen to be in london during the Nottinghill carnival so it was extra noisy till 4am! I asked them if i could store my bags for a couple of hours and they refused. Stay away from this place as the staff isn’t friendly and the rooms are very very small! The suite is not a suite!
We found this place on a voucher site and found it to be extremely good value. The rooms are spacious, clean, great bathrooms and combined with the great location of the hotel. We would definitely stay again.Rooms: 5/5
This hotel has a serious mold issue that it is covering up with insane perfume. I had an allergic reaction and had to be medically evacuated from the hotel. I never even stayed a single night yet they are refusing a refund despite having assured us that we wouldn't be charged. This is a shady operation and a run-down hotel with major shaking from the tube, tons of noise and horrific smells.
I had the pleasure of staying in La Suite West Hotel, it is truly amazing experience from start to finish. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The entire space was immaculate, reflecting the hotel dedication to maintaining a high standard cleanliness. I genuinely enjoyed my stay and would not hesitate to book again in the future!
