Smallest hotel room I have ever seen in my life. Service was good, room was clean but a little old and could use some touch ups. I had a twin bed, and there was barely enough room to open my suitcase. Bathroom was also tiny, unfortunately I was also next to an elevator that was under construction on a Saturday. This place is fine if you need a place to crash, but not somewhere you can actually stay. For the price, the boat cabin / train cabin - like room was fine, but I don’t think I’d be able to handle more than a couple nights.
There were too many intern employees at the reception. The staff was friendly. The room was clean, but the bathroom was old and very small. The bathtub floor was slippery and dangerous. A serious renovation is needed, and replacing the bathtub with a shower cabin would be appropriate. On the last day of my stay, no towels were left in my room. There was a limited variety of food at breakfast. I was not satisfied with the value for money.
Location is nice and not in the middle of everything. I liked being able to run in Hyde Park. The stay was going well until my second day when there were bugs all over the bathroom. I hadn’t seen anything the day prior but it was disgusting so I went downstairs to report it. Management moved me to a new room which I appreciated and told me I would receive 25,000 points for my trouble. I enjoyed the rest of my stay and have watched my account to see if I received the points, but it has been a week and they aren’t there I did receive the regular points from my stay. I wasn’t going to say anything but it’s really the principle for me. It makes me think they just said they would offer the points to appease me and get me to move on.
The hotel is located immediately at the Queensbury Tube subway exit. It was raining the day we checked in, so it was very convenient. We had a Standard King Room and the bed was very comfortable. The AC in the room worked well and the shower was very nice. Overall this is a great hotel located right across the street Hyde Park, and a 2 mile walk to Buckingham Palace
My husband and I stayed in this hotel for 4 nights. All of the staff was great but Qudus was exceptional! The room was small but for a city hotel room was what we expected. The location was perfect for us to use the Tube or to walk places. A friend recommended this hotel to us.Rooms: 5/5
I won't stay here again. I travel a lot for work, and stay at Hilton enough to be Diamond status. During this visit, my incapacitated wife and I were treated poorly and had to wait many hours for our room to be ready. No excuses were given for the delays. During our wait, there were several other guests who were given rooms right away and even given upgrades. When we were finally granted access to a room, it was very tiny and faced a dirty back alleyway. The room was clean, but it was very poorly lit even with the curtains wide open. The amenities in the room were also not refilled. I contacted customer service about our visit and after discussing the issue for a while, I was told that I would have to call another phone number to lodge a complaint. Very annoying and frustrating. I don't get this poor treatment when I stay at the other hotel chains, and I'm not that high of a member at those places.
Great location opposite Hyde Park and close to a number of tube stations. Staff were very friendly, breakfast buffet provided good selection of hot and cold options. Residents get 25% in the on site public restaurant. Rooms were spacious ones at the rear are quieter as not on main road but no view and some have the sound of the main heating and ventilation units. Some furnishings felt dated but everything you need provided in the room. Nearby activities: Walk in the park to the princess Diana memorial fountain, the Italian gardens and Peter pan statue. You can also boat on the river.
I stayed here with my wife and had the most lovely time. The location is superb and the customer service is top notch. Advikya at the front desk was extremely hospitable and considerate. If you are an American going to visit London, this is a great place to rest after a long day of sightseeing. Additional Pros: it is situated right off of the center line tube. Safety: Very nice area of the city.
The front desk staff was excellent and the stay itself was okay. My complaint is about the family room and the access to the room itself. I had a stroller and taking it up and down the stairs to get to the family rooms was a significant pain. Additionally, the room was dark and had no windows, it was very depressing. For the amount of money we paid, we should have had a room on a higher floor. This was not what I was expecting at all. We travel to London often and its my second time staying here and I was very, very disappointed at the access and the room itself. Additionally, the bathroom door lock broke and no one could fix it until the next day. I am not sure if I would come here again. Rooms: Rooms are small which is standard for London but the family rooms are just abysmal with no windows and limited access with strollers
Room was extremely dated and tiny. The mini fridge was broken and the mattress was lumpy. We immediately asked to cancel our reservation and leave. They tried to make us pay for both nights but they eventually only made us pay for one. We left anyway and went to a Hyatt where we were treated like royalty.Rooms: 1/5
