Great location. 10 minute walk away from the tube station. The rooms are very clean, and the breakfast is well prepared. And it's in a very safe areaRooms: 5/5
2 day work trip. Managed to book double room as it was on offer. This hotel is normally out of my budget. Room was compact but very nice.. modern decor in room and bathroom. Excellent rain shower . Room was rather warm but windows open and there was a fan if needed. Included free breakfast from 7.30 to 9.30 but I never got to try. Would definitely stay again if the offer come up.
100% excellent value for money and loved it! My elderly mother also loved it to. The hotel is tastefully done with some period features. I'd love to see MORE period features reinstated in line with the good modern taste and decor the hotel is in. Fabulous and quiet area with those beautiful gardens opposite. I want to stay there again.....soon like mid Feb. Rooms: The 2 double bed room large and really good...fab and thanks. Safety: 100% felt safe ...loved it! Walkability: The hotel is nice, the local area is fab and lovely to walk around. A key feature for this hotel.
Pretty good hotel, we stayed there for 4 nights, despite the tiny room no need for more to be honest the rest is absolutely perfect! Pretty good option for staying in London! The location is more than perfect!Rooms: 4/5
This hotel is ok by London standards. The location is very good. It is located within 5 minutes of two very different bus and tube lines, hence it offers great exploring possibilities. I didn't dare the breakfast nook check out my review of the Sociale Café, 5 minutes away. The room was clean and practical. It overlooked the park, which was lovely, on a fairly quiet street. The staff was barely there and the elevator broken. No help was offered to carry my luggage up 4 flights of stairs.
A lovely night spent at this hotel on a visit to watch a West End show. It's about a six minute walk from the nearest tube station. We had a twin room, the space was limited but hey it was only for one night. The room, bathroom, and bedding was very clean. The manager was very friendly and she also helped us out on to the street with our luggage when we left. In my opinion the breakfast room was too small for the size of the hotel, guests were queuing at the door which made me feel as though I should rush my food. Breakfast itself was continental style with not a lot of choice, it was well topped up though. The language barrier with the kitchen staff was an issue. The area of the hotel is very beautiful and well worth a walk around. I would probably go again.
Technically this hotel might not be bad but we experienced quite a few hiccups that made the stay rather unpleasant. We went on this trip with the in-laws, who aren't the fittest anymore. Unfortunately, the elevator was broken during our entire stay, which made it difficult for them to get up into their room. My partner had to carry his mom up the stairs on the second floor. Ourselves, we got a room up the 4th floor. The toilet in one of the rooms had quite nasty remains from the previous visitors which made us question the cleanliness of the hotel. And while the rooms looked clean visually, I have a dust allergy and was congested the entire stay. The water pressure of the shower was very light and felt like soft rain. However, the in-laws said their shower was fine. The breakfast was definitely super limited: toast, cheese, ham, yoghurt, marmalades, cereal. For vegans, there's soy milk bananas and apples. Most of the staff is nice, some staff members seemed miserable. We stayed in better accommodations in London for the same money or cheaper.
I stayed with a friend at the Garden Court Hotel in February, and we had a wonderful experience! The location is perfect, as it is in a beautiful and safe area, easily accessible by the underground, and there are plenty of shops and restaurants within walking distance. The staff was incredibly welcoming and really went above and beyond, even providing us luggage storage the day of our check-out. The room was nice and very clean. We would definitely stay at the Garden Court Hotel again if we ever come back to London!
Great place for a 2-night stay. Most ideal place to find after finding out very late that the stay in another place was cancelled without notification, 1 day before a big show at the O2. Hats-off! Room did not have an A/C but at least a small fan helped. Staff were very polite and understanding. Walkability: A few minutes walk to the Underground.
The staff were very friendly The location is very handy and in particular for the reason I was there - to go to a concert at the Albert Hall. 15 mins walk from Paddington and a 3 min Uber ride from the Hall. Old school family run hotel - very clean. Room was fine for me as I was on my own - although the bathroom was a separate room. But the separate private bathroom I had was fine - if a little small. Great powerful shower and extremely clean. I found breakfast a little random e.g. no one explained if I helped myself or if I ordered and it was a bit chaotic in the brekkie room. A bit small in the breakfast room also. Not sure if they offer cooked breakfast because all I could see was toast/pastries and cold cuts. But...my main reason was a good price for this posh area of London and great location! Nice staff :
