Just want to say a big thank you to Baz from A2B taxis in St Helens. He's taken me to Liverpool to see family a few times and he is very courteous, friendly, great personality and always takes the cheapest route to ensure I don't get overcharged. Just a really great fella As for A2B, the app sometimes says there's no taxis available but once you give them a call they sort it out for you. Can't fault them.
Queued for a taxi and was issued with a ticket. The fellow coordinating decided to skip our group completely and claimed that he had called our number despite being stood by the front door. We then made the short walk to Britannia Taxis and was given a car immediately with no wait.
Drivers always ask which way you'd like to go always 2 ways offered which is a test to see if you know which way you're going so they can take the longer way. As much as they need to make money, we need to save money. Taxis are always impossible to get during school morning times and from half 2 onwards for the end of school. They say they're not contracted for doing school runs but seems it to me as between those times the app always says no drivers available every day without fail rendering the most important times of the day without taxis.
Great service, arrived on time and great customer service! Will use again. Highly recommend.

Saturday night service - called the night before to book the taxis, pick up from home and collect from a different address to my original drop off. No issues. Bang on time. Drivers didn’t talk too much which I prefer because I will only talk a bit but we’re very friendly. Knew my locations without help. Great rates ££. I will use every time.
Don’t bother booking through this taxi company if you have to be anywhere on time. Booked cab for 7.30. Turned up 20 mins late without apology. Frustrating!
Tried to book a pick up and then a return for liverpool but was told over the phone they don't do that. I don't understand why .
