I spent 5 weeks at the priory north London and the entire experience was life changing for me. But I do have to say one of the highlights for me were the staff at lower court. Every member of staff were amazing and helped me through difficult times. The ward manager, Tahera was always there to sort any problems I had and I could write a full paragraph on each member of staff about how great they were and how they helped me but I just would rather say a huge thank you to them all for everything they did for me and making my time there so much happier. Thank you to every Doctor, therapist and especially all the Health Care Assistants and manager of the ward
I am incredibly grateful for the care and support I received from my recent inpatient stay at Priory Hospital North London. I was at a very low point, but a combination of great and encouraging therapists, doctors, healthcare assistants and a supportive cohort of patients has turned my life around. The only minor negative points are the 2-weekly bed changes in summer particularly and the distinctly average quality of dinners specifically - the other meals are much better. If these points can be addressed it would be outstanding in my opinion.
My experience at The Priory North London was exceptional. I was really nervous to begin with as this was my first experience within inpatient facility and i was brilliantly looked after from start to finish. The food and catering was reasonable but tasty. The housekeeping were nice nut did wake you up early with cleaning. But honestly, If you are looking for a place to stabilise and work on your MH, this is the place. Thank you so much all the staff- shout to Venice, Leonard, Amanda, Shelia and Abdel who made my recovery so much better and with ease.
Almost all of the doctors, nurses, HCAs and support staff were very helpful and supportive in my recovery. The therapy groups are good. Only complaint is frequency of bed changes which sounds like it is due to the priory group as a whole and not specifically this hospital. I came in wanting to die and left not wanting to die so guess that’s good 7.8/10
Avoid This Facility!!!! Lack of Evidence-Based Treatment: The program does not use evidence-based treatment methods, which are crucial for effective recovery. Unqualified Staff: The team lacks proper qualifications, leading to substandard care. Destructive Impact: Instead of helping, this facility has caused harm to individuals, potentially ruining lives. No Counseling Provided: Despite the importance of counseling in treatment, it is not offered here. Unqualified Doctors: The doctors here do not have the necessary qualifications to provide adequate care. Health Risks: Healthy individuals might be harmed by the drugs or treatments administered at this facility.
Unfortunately, I found the doctors to be overly clinical and detached, almost to the point of being psychotic. There was a noticeable lack of empathy in their approach, which made the already challenging process of rehab and detox feel even more isolating. For anyone considering Priory Hospital North London for their alcohol or drug rehabilitation needs, I would recommend being cautious and perhaps exploring other options where the medical staff respect basic human rights
I just wanted to say massive thank you to all of the staff at the North London Priory Southgate. Every single member of staff has been helpful in my recovery. At every stage each staff member takes the time to speak with every patient regardless of what’s going on at the time having this constant interaction with the people who understand my condition. It’s Made my recovery so much easier and Helpful the knowledge which each nurse healthcare assistant doctor specialist therapist have is in unequivocal to anywhere else there is I found every part of my recovery every stage of my recovery challenging, especially in my first three weeks thanks to all the staff are going out their way to make it a compassionate and understanding Moment in my time in my life, it’s made me so thankful and so grateful for every single individual person because they have aided my recovery and for that am so grateful I cannot articulate about the treatment any better they are top-notch first class, individuals and members of staff
The Priory North London has saved my life! I have so much gratitude to every councillor, consultant, therapist, doctor, nurse, every ward staff member, catering, maintenance, the cleaning staff and receptionist. Each and every person has shown me such empathy and kindness. They have each in their own way given me such Hope, Serenity, Faith and Courage for a better and brighter future and a willingness to learn and grow. Thank you. Love always - Liv x
I would like to thank all the staff on the lower court for their help and keeping me safe. The staff are there to help you on your road to recovery. They will listen to you, talk to you, and care for you. The rooms are very clean and cleaned daily. You have your own private room. I would especially like to thank these staff members, Leonard, Jumma, Curtis, Eugene, Saleana, Viv, Sheila, Cornela, Sam, Megan, Daisy, Tayla, Lauren, Sophia, Abdul, Andrew, Henry, Sarah, Val, For their support throughout my stay and the bond we created was special. I wish you all the best for the future. keep doing what you all do as without all the lower ward staff, where would we be! The food is 100% excellent and all the kitchen staff are always helpful and provide a great service.
They are killing my health son inside bit by bit. They just took my healthly young son because he like too much the freedom, the laugh, and the sea , they told lies about him and now they are running cocktail drugs on him. This hospital is as the movie 'fly over a cookoo nest"
