Came here to donate bone marrow and was required to have a 2 night stay. Nurses were always polite, welcoming and helpful. Whenever I pressed the buzzer for assistance they responded very quickly, would always knock before entering and assisted me with a smile. The rooms are exceptionally clean and everything you could need is provided. A special shout out to the catering team. A wide variety of food options at all times of day, and amazing taste. I was regularly brought water and checked on to see if I required anything. The anaesthetist did an excellent job of trying to calm a very nervous me down. The surgeon visited me before and after my surgery to discuss with me side effects and concerns. Overall I found my stay exceptional
Dr Rather is an exceptional doctor who goes above and beyond. A talented geriatrician who treats your parents as though they are his own. He quickly develops trust and ensures that the very best care and treatment is delivered. He cares and makes sure that he gets to the root of any issues. My family highly recommend this professional, kind and compassionate man who really listens to the client. Thank you.
I came to The London Clinic as a staff for ear surgery under Mr. Harcourt. To experience it first hand was an eye opener. From staff that knew me to the staff that did not know, I experienced a consistent level of empathy, competence and over all a high level of care. It was the little details of care that made a big difference, form the welcome I received, to the simple comforting touch and to the detailed discharge information and advice was a big reassurance. 5/5 for me
I recently had the pleasure of staying at The London Clinic on Floor 5, and I cannot express enough how impressed I was with the entire experience. From the moment I was admitted to the day of my discharge, the care and professionalism displayed by the staff were exceptional. A special thanks to Joanna for ensuring a smooth and efficient discharge process. Her attention to detail and friendly demeanor made the transition seamless and stress-free. I also want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to Sarah for the outstanding care I received during my stay. Her dedication and expertise in physiotherapy significantly aided my recovery, and her compassionate approach made a world of difference. Thank you to the entire team on Floor 5 at The London Clinic for making my stay as comfortable and positive as possible. Your hard work and dedication truly stand out!
I am always hugely impressed by the professionalism and above all, kindness by all of the staff at The London Eye Clinic. They all go out of their way to make me feel welcome, respected and reassured. Despite the gravity of the reason for being there and the unpleasantness of treatment, the staff are always concerned for my welfare and do their utmost to smooth my journey. I wish I didn’t need treatment to save my sight but I couldn’t be in better hands.
The Eye Clinic is a warm and welcoming place to visit. The staff are always friendly, understanding and considerate. The environment is very clean and easy to navigate especially if you have difficulty with your vision.
Rating: 4 stars out of 5 Reasoning: For the majority of my stay at The London Clinic, the service/care provided was excellent. There were, however, a few minor points that unfortunately lessened the overall rating. Positive points: I was greeted well and escorted to my room. The anaesthetist, dr/consultant and his team, physiotherapist were all excellent. The late afternoon/evening team/nurses were attentive, friendly and looked after me very well. The catering staff were great and the food was varied and tasted nice. The room was spacious, private and quiet. It was clean and well kept. Negative points: Day staff/nurses, although very pleasant, were less attentive. I didn’t receive many observations and a few minor things happened, which were less than satisfactory although most were resolved. These were: 1 due to my procedure, I needed assistance in visiting the bathroom. The first nurse could not help and I had to call again after 15 minutes of waiting for someone so that I could go to the toilet; 2 my bed mechanism stopped working and would not go down. Technical support never showed up and after 2 hours of sitting up and waiting, I had to call again after abdominal surgery, I needed to be able to lay down. I ended up having a complete new bed; and 3 I needed assistance with showering on my first day following surgery, however no one ever came to assist me even though I was told they would so I did not end up being able to shower. Finally, the weekend reception team were rude to my husband, who was collecting me, which is unacceptable. Overall, my time at The London Clinic was good and I was largely looked after very well. Aside from the above few points, I would be happy to recommend this clinic to others.
I recently had a procedure, and I was very, very impressed with the quality of the care. I had continuous irrigation for 36 hours after the procedure, which meant the nursing staff were repeatedly carrying in heavy bags of saline, and emptying out the waste. This was all through the night, and it was hard work. All of the staff got on with this cheerfully, and without complaining. Thanks so much!
I just had a surgical procedure at the London Clinic for enlarged prostate by the Urology Consultant Mr Neil Barber. My entire experience of the procedure and my post procedure stay at the Clinic for 2 nights was beyond exemplary. The surgical care, the nursing care and the amenities were truly outstanding. The nursing care was truly diligent, caring and considerate beyond the call of duty. I cannot recommend highly enough Mr Barber, the anaesthetist Mr Rahim and the awesome Nursing Staff at the Clinic.
When reviewing a world class, world renowned hospital it’s difficult to describe the quality of service you have received from such an amazing facility. It has been two years since I was first diagnosed with a terminal illness. I was very sick when I first arrived and was diagnosed and admitted almost immediately. I have continued my treatments at the hospital and I am living an almost perfect life. I’m not sure if my recommendation is necessary but I wholeheartedly recommend the facility and staff for their wonderful service.
