Thank you for your sincere care bestowed on me when I had an eye scare experience. Nurse Rose at 1030pm, Nurse Jane Davies at 830am the next morning and Dr Ken and all the other staff managing reception were exemplary genuine in their professional services. As an anxious patient and tourist , I felt supported and reassured throughout the 2 days experiences. Thank you a million times.
The best experience of NHS healthcare I've ever had. Yes, sometimes you may have to wait around a bit though much less than at other hospitals I've been to, but what makes Moorfields great is the staff. Greeters in corridors checking if you need help finding the right department, friendly helpful medical staff who introduce themselves and explain clearly what they will be doing, ask if you have questions, listen to your concerns, and provide clear next steps. Absolutely outstanding care.
My goodness. The uveitis clinic, clinic 15 is horrendous. It's based on the lower ground and it just smells of urine as soon as you enter the lower ground via the lifts. There is no sense of hygiene in place. The staff from the reception through to the nurses and the sonographers have no sense of manners whatsoever. No polite behaviour and the sink that was used to wash my hands in the nurses room, was filled with food debris???? Incompetent staff, rude manners and horrendous wait times
Today appointment was a very long wait but wanted to say a big thank you to Mohammed from Clinic 12, LG floor. A professional calm receptionist, he kept his cool dealing with a very arrogant patient who expected things done at a click of a finger. Mohammed was calm and helped the best way he could. Also, thank you Dr Supawat! Also based on clinic 12, LG floor. Amazing and great service. 45 patients and 7 doctors, they were short of staff but they were all very nice, helpful and kind so thank you. However, the receptionist at the 2nd Floor needs some training, didn’t catch her name but just no nice service, she just seemed annoyed and unbothered. But the nurses on second floor was very nice and helpful. The volunteers on ground floor, soon as you walk in are so nice and helpful, and it’s such a lovely team who always go out their way to help you find where you want to go. May be Royal London Hospital located in Whitechapel should learn something from Moorfields Eye Hospital. Great job!
I came to A&E 3 times and in every ocassion the personal was rude, incimpetent, and condescending. The doctors don't advise you correctly on the steps to follow to get better, I see mainly with only one eye and they don't care that as a result of their bad advise I lost eye sight. They said 0.5 more of bioptries is not loosong eye sight. When before I could see 100% with the eye. UNBELIEVABLE!!!
Bit of a strange review. My friend is here for an appointment. Of course, I can't comment on the level of treatment however, this is the friendliest hospital I've ever been in. The staff are so kind and welcoming.
Excellent experience at A&E today despite it being busy. Polite and sympathetic administrative and nursing staff and gentle exam by knowledgeable doctor. We are so lucky to have this service.
The hospital is world class, the wait times are so much lower than other A&Es I have been to. The doctors listen to your problems and don’t try to just get rid of you from their checklist.
I have been going here for many years to the Uveitis clinic and I have had to use the A&E. The staff are unbelievable and so amazing! You cannot get better eye care anywhere else. The hospital as well has so much art on the walls which is really nice. The A&E was amazing and every quick I may say! If you liked my review please give it a and feel free to follow me on Google Maps for more reviews!
Absolutely disgusted by their approach. I cannot even get through to anyone and even PALS the complaint dept is out of reach. NHS you should be ashamed of yourself to let people of this type of mental and social debility to work here. Mentally triggered and snowflakes. Jobsworth of the highest standard. Parking warden beware there’s a new sheriff in town.
