My husband came with a very much abdominal pain, we have been waiting the scan for 7 hours. İt has been said the scan room is very busy. I am very sorry for the nice staff and the people who live here including us that if anything happens critical you wont get any help on time, probably not at all in this country. Very bad health system, lack of staff and probably lack of practicality in operations. Anna the nurse is amazing, thanks a lot!
After a bad experience at the Royal Free Hospital with a fracture, UCLH were really there to pick up the pieces. Everyone in A&E/ the urgent treatment centre, and the fracture clinic, have been extremely kind, prompt, and professional. Every person I've interacted with has taken the time to give thoughtful responses to my questions, both on site and virtually. Despite the enormous task of running a teaching hospital in the middle of London, things run smoothly and efficiently and the staff seem to have a natural culture of compassion. Massive thanks to both the medical and administrative staff here at this hospital!
I was there a week ago. Very busy but every member of staff from the reception team to the doctors absolutely brilliant. I was seen and had bloods with just a few hours. Thank you. And was given a scan just to make sure. Thank you.
Had an appointment with one of the clinics here. It was such a good experience, from the speed of receiving the referral, the lovely supportive staff to the professionalism of everyone involved. The hospital felt really clean and modern. I felt cared for and like a human whose experience really mattered. I genuinely can't fault it. Thanks UCH.
I am grateful how I was treated there...Nice environment, kind staff and super doctors. Dr Julian Hague who did the operation was great. All nurses nice I forgot their names: all were nice and sweet especially Alfred who works with Dr Hague.. I had a surgery there and in few days after discharged I was called to be asked how I am, how do I feel, if I need something they will go to ask a doctor for me....nice.... I will be back on September for another surgery.
The first time I've been to this hospitals emergency department. I am shocked at how efficient kind , attentive, caring. I've always gone to the royal free hospital and I didn't realise how disgusting the royal free hospital actually is. Until now I see how UCH functions, the nurses are so kind and there is a phillipino nurse a man the sweetest guy makes you feel like he really is listening and not rushing you. I am shocked genuinely how good they are there. Royal free hospital should be investigated now I have seen how well uch works. Every single member of staff at the uch is brilliant. Thank you for showing me how an accident and emergency department should be run. Thank you!!
I was admitted over 10 days for aneurysm, i am recovering well, every step of my treatment is explained to me before hand, to allow me to understand and 3 ask question if in doubt, staff are amazing. Both Work and communication wize, Those assigned to me Kris, tenzin, heart, karl, Victoria, Joseph, sibanda, Kelly, Ruhiya, nicea also doctors and consultants. I am very grateful
Really not a good hospital, the wait to be seen is very, very long, the staff are hit and miss, and it probably has the worst surgery team in any London hospital. About 50% of the doctors are really arrogant and don't care about patients or caring. Saying that it is not all bad, you do have a few nuggets in of brilliant and caring staff, it is generally clean, the nurses for the most part are trying their best, some it appears simply hate being nurses, and the overall experience of visiting this hospital will make you want to never return, especially in an emergency and privatise the NHS.
Had an accident on my holiday and ended up walking in to the emergency department with a head wound. Yes you have to wait, but I didn't had a life treatening situation. After the wait I got a very nice nurse assesing my injuries and helping me with first care. After that a visit to the CT-scanIn the Netherlands the same took me 3 days before there was a possibility to be scanned. Just before the night started ended up by a very friendly doctor how did the final stitching and checks and left gratefull and recieved good treatment. Thanks for the good care and friendly treatment!
There were so many patients in the A&E, i suffered with severe pain with kidney stone sym on Wednesday night 08/12/2023,staffs are well trained and doctors and nurses are very helpful. I had my CT scan and blood test results with in two hours. specially thanks to Dr. Bolloju and Dr. Galica, they are such nice doctors showed their professionalism, kindness, caring and excellent management skills.
