Have been to the plough inn on many occasions over the last year and have had a fantastic experience every time. The food is to notch and we have stayed over in the shepherd huts that was warm, clean and well presented. I’d give The Plough In a 10/10 every time. Thank you and can’t wait to be able to revisit soon.
We stayed here in the first week after lockdown had been restricted and loved our stay. We were impressed by the quality and variety of food scallop and peppered squid starter was excellent, friendly staff and breakfast we had during our stay. Even had a nice little horse box pub out the front for passers by.
We went for lunch after s brisk walk. The greeting was warm and the food far better than you average pub food. Well presented and tasty.
Lovely spot in the autumn sun but next to a road. Good beers and trying to do sensible COVID measures although haphazard compliance from patrons. Outside bar convenient. Not cheap but ok prices for quality drinks. Didn't eat this time.
Services brill, friendly, only had the scampi but big portion. Haddock good, chips a bit dry I'll look forward to going back again. DOG FRIENDLY YER.
Insanely delicious! No wonder their walls are decorated with awards! The Plough In is permanently marked on my map places to eat when around. Such a shame it is a fair drive from London:
