Well prepared and presented meals. Both my guest and myself were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food and the customer service. "Not a problem" was the quote of the day delivered with remarkable regularity by some serving staff, and nothing was indeed a problem. With clean beers pulled perfectly what more could one want in this picturesque sleepy backwater where a lot of people died in 1666 from the "Black Death". To top it off we both got soaked walking back to the free car park.
Absolutely fabulous place. I am unable to rate the rooms as we only visited for a drink a few nights and a meal on our last visit. I would recommend eating here the food was of a high standard and was very well proportioned, very good value for money, service was excellent. I highly recommend this place if you are in area.Service: 5/5
A comfortable local pub just off the main road . Nicely decorated and clean, the pub has a welcoming atmosphere. We returned for a meal and were not disappointed . The staff were friendly and enthusiastic and the kitchen did a great range of meals for us . Great value.
We had a lovely lunch here after a long walk with our Dog! The staff were amazing, the food was delicious and the best thing was that our dog was welcome. Great place to visit. Thanks so much.Service: 5/5
Friendly helpful staff, serving delicious, reasonably priced, generously portioned meals. So good we went back two days later. In the extremely picturesque village of Eyam.Service: 5/5
Had a beautiful meal here when visiting for the weekend. The rack of lamb was divine and the chocolate fudge cake was amazing. Totally exceeded expectations and would come back. Prices are slightly higher than normal “pub” food but the quality is so worth it! Lovely cosy environment and staff were lovely too.
Great pub with excellent service, fantastic food. A must if you are staying in the area. Highly recommended
Only had Sunday lunch so can't comment on the rooms. The meal was fantastic, saff were friendly along with other customers. Lovely pub and Highly recommended, thanks everyoneService: 5/5
Excellent one night stay here for myself, daughter and two grandchildren in this inn in the centre of the beautiful village of Eyam. We had two rooms booked and they were very accommodating in moving one of our rooms so that we could be next to one another. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. We had a lovely meal in the restaurant. The duck and the lamb were especially good and again they were very accommodating in providing food that was not on the menu for one of my granddaughters. Breakfast was also good. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend.
I recently stayed at The Miner's Arms, as I attended an navigation course in Edale. The single room I stayed in was clean, tidy and compact, but had everything I needed after a long day on Kinder Scout; fresh towels, shower, TV, tea/coffee making facilities etc. I ate at the pub both nights, beef and ale pie and fish and chips, and also sampled the local Eyam Brewery's wares. Both the meals and the beers were lovely. The staff were friendly and I'd highly recommend staying here
