I came here to watch housemaid with a friend who had free tickets. Really good film. Surprisingly good.nnIt's definitely a bougie Vue, but that's to be expected given that it is in the west end. There was a bar area plus more available to buy on the ground floor and then another bar on the 2nd or 3rd floor. We went to screen 9.nnThe seats are okay, not the most comfortable. I didn't like how far the screens seem. Didn't seem that big compared to an odeon cinema which was a little disappointing, so it wasn't the immersive experience you usually get in most cinemas of today.nnAll in all I had a good time simply because the film was great!
Vue Cinema London West End offers an outstanding movie experience, especially if you’re watching a big release. I watched the new Avatar movie there in 3D, and the experience was truly unique and immersive. The Epic screen made a huge difference, with stunning visuals that pulled you right into the film. The seating in the Epic hall is exceptionally comfortable and luxurious, making it easy to relax and fully enjoy the movie. The sound quality and overall atmosphere really elevate the cinema experience, making it one of the best places to watch films in central London.
Has to spend some time before my flight so decided to give it a go. Decided to watch ‘now you see me’ on screen 1. They have good waiting lounge. In terms of seating its was comfortable though the size of screen was small. Overall a good experience.
I recently visited Screen 2 at Vue West End and left with decidedly mixed impressions. The experience was competent yet uninspired; functional but far from memorable.nnThe auditorium itself is compact, as you’ll see from the photos, and the screen size leans towards the lower end of the spectrum. Sound quality and projection were acceptable but nothing to write home about - overall, the experience was serviceable but not particularly immersive.nnStaff were courteous, if somewhat perfunctory, and the overall ambience felt more commercial than curated. In sum, it was neither dreadful nor distinguished - a perfectly forgettable outing.
Terrible experience at Vue Leicester Square – avoid, especially if you have accessibility needs.nnMy wife and I visited Vue Leicester Square recently, and it was honestly one of the worst experiences we’ve had at a cinema - especially as people with accessibility needs. Their customer service agents just don't care.nnBefore buying tickets, I specifically asked about accessible facilities and was told where the nearest accessible toilet to the screen was. But when we got there, we were told those toilets were reserved for a private event. To make things worse, at least three sets of escalators minium one direction per escalator and the lift were all out of order. The only available toilets were either two floors up or three floors down, and every route involved at least one broken escalator.nnBecause of this, my wife ended up falling on one of the escalators. I reported the incident to Vue straight away. It then took them three months and three different attempts on my part - emails, phone calls, and online chats - just to get a response. When they finally replied, they basically said they didn’t believe me because their staff hadn’t logged the incident. They also claimed that out-of-service escalators are considered suitable as stairs for disabled guests. I couldn’t believe it. They offered £20 voucher for the delay in responding - which they never actually gave me.nnTo make matters worse, because they took so long to respond, the CCTV footage that could’ve backed up our account - which I had been asking them to review since initial contact - was no longer available. I also raised concerns about a customer service rep who flat-out refused to log my complaint and kept ignoring my requests - that was never addressed either. She was also reluctant to give me the ticket number for my initial complaint.nnNo apology. No accountability. Not even an acknowledgment of what happened. The whole experience felt discriminatory and dismissive. Their customer service seems more focused on covering for each other than actually helping people. If you or someone you care about has accessibility needs, I would avoid Vue.
