Lucy one of the manager was with her smile very kind and welcoming. The bed was not comfortable but i survived 3 nights . I liked the house and it's old theme, but the bathroom could be better, anyway it's recommended of you visiting for a short vacation.Rooms: 3/5
A wonderfully quaint and delightful hotel. Located across from a park and just down the street from cool shops. Seriously a great stay for my son and I and would be for you too. Price was very reasonable for the areaRooms: 5/5
Positive notes 1. Very good location - buzzing with pubs, restaurants, cafes and coffee shops 2. Cozy, heated room with soundproofing windows 3. Very friendly and heplfull staff 4. Daily cleaning is always a plus 5. Easy access to busses and underground The only negative point I would like to highlight, is the washroom. Its tiny, cramped, water clogged in the shower place while bathing, washbasin is has separate taps for cold and hot water.
Hotel is very good located. Room was big enough for 3 people and the most important it was clean. Everyday room was cleaning. The staff is very welcoming, friendly and helpful, the Lady who is there and running this hotel is the kindest person i have ever met. She served perfect english breakfast and coffe or tea. She upgrade our stay in London! I recommend this place. I would stay there again. -there is no lift, for us it is not a problem - hotel is old and small but it is beautiful and make cozy atmosphere
THE GIRL'S LED BY CHRISTY SERVICE GENERALLY WAS OUTSTANDING. NOTHING WAS TOO MUCH. BREAKFAST WAS MODEST, BUT ADEQUATE. HYGIENE AND CLEANLINESS WAS GOOD. THE ONLY CRITICISM I WOULD HAVE IS THE ROOMS, FLAKEY WALLPAPER, CRAMPED AND POORLY DESIGNED BATHROOM IS OUT OF THE GIRLS HANDS AND GOES A LONG WAY TO UNDERMINE THEIR GOOD WORK BUT THE COST OF BED AND BREAKFAST IS REASONABLE, COMPETITIVE, AND RELATIVE TO ITS LOCATION. IT SERVED OUR REQUIREMENT.
Cozy, small place and very good located 15 mimutes by walking to the underground Room was clean, breakfast was delicious. The young Lady who was running the hotel, was fantastic, helpful, nothing was to much trouble. Would definitely stay again.Rooms: 5/5
Plus + Very good location; Very friendly and heplfull staff; Daily cleaning; Electric kettle with instant coffee and tea; Free WiFi with very good signal. Minus - The room has no desk, no chair, just the two beds and an antique wardrobe; The wardrobe has no shelf, just a bar with few hangers; The tv is placed on top of the wardrobe, with bad visibility from the bed; The washbasin is tiny and has separate taps for cold and hot water, no mixer tap.
The good -cheaper comfy bed in a very expensive London location, there are no cheap beds. -friendly welcoming staff. -everything in the room worked, including the tv. -the hot breakfast was simple and nice. The bad -the place is more of a run-down bed and breakfast than a hotel -there was an inital problem with the payment which was resolved by staff. -The door to the room was sticky and left ajar by the staff after they cleaned the room. Overall, we would stay there again.
Don't be put off by dated decor in the communal areas, bedroom was freshly painted & very clean, very comfy bed. Room was cramped but can't fault location & budget price, 5 mins from King's Road, walking distance from Chelsea flower show & Physic garden, even walkable to the coach station. Great option if you're on a budget . Barely saw staff while staying so couldn't really comment other than would have appreciated an offer of help with our suitcase on arrival as we were 3 floors up
Decent hotel at a great price! They serve a British breakfast in the morning. There is a sink in the room, however the toilets and showers are shared with other guests. Heads up - if you want to leave your bags with them before checking in, you leave them in the front hallway or dining area. The hotel is secure, but hotel guests have access to those areas.
