My lady and I came to this hotel as part of a special celebration and we have not been disappointed. The staff have been helpful, informative especially Mara, Erin and the barman Chenmay I hope that’s correct was especially open to listening to nonsense from one of his guests, me, by the way. The hotel is boutique and decorated in a truly British manner, easy on the eye, cosy with many interesting paintings and cuttings from newspapers depicting well known sporting events from bygone times. The location is great for easy access to the West End, City and we easily enjoyed a RiverBus trip to Greenwich. Sightseeing and shopping were on our agenda and we did that ‘full on’ also finding some really decent pubs to collaspe in after our exertions. After all that, our room was a haven of comforting cosiness with a good nights sleep almost guaranteed. Service excellent, breakfast eggsellent, the poached eggs are perfect! The only niggle I had was, the room was too warm for me. All in all, a great stay! Nearby activities: “If a man is tired of London, he is tired of life.” Dr Johnson.
Certainly! Here's a five-star review for The Egerton House Hotel: --- I recently had the pleasure of staying at The Egerton House Hotel, and it was an absolutely outstanding experience from start to finish. Nestled in a charming corner of Knightsbridge, this hotel exudes elegance and warmth, making it a perfect retreat in the heart of London. The moment I arrived, I was greeted with genuine hospitality and a welcome drink, setting the tone for a delightful stay. The staff were consistently attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure every detail was perfect. The room itself was a haven of comfort and luxury, beautifully appointed with exquisite decor and all the modern amenities one could wish for. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the nightly turndown service with thoughtful touches made me feel truly pampered. Dining at the hotel was an exceptional experience. The traditional afternoon tea was a highlight, offering a delectable selection of sandwiches, scones, and pastries, all served with impeccable style. Breakfast each morning was equally delightful, with a wide array of delicious options prepared to perfection. What truly sets The Egerton House Hotel apart is its unique blend of luxury and personal touch. It feels like a home away from home, with a level of service that is both professional and heartfelt. The attention to detail in every aspect of the hotel is remarkable, and it’s clear that the team takes immense pride in providing an extraordinary guest experience. I cannot recommend The Egerton House Hotel highly enough. It’s a gem in London’s hospitality scene, and I look forward to my next stay. Five stars all the way! ---
We had the most fantastic afternoon tea at the Egerton House Hotel with our beautiful cockapoo Dave. Dave couldn’t believe he had his own menu, placemat, blanket, water bowl and three course afternoon tea. He loved all three courses meatloaf, carrot cake and peanut butter cookies; the relaxing and welcoming ambience; and the wonderfully friendly staff. He’s going to recommend this place to all his friends. He also said the sandwiches, cakes and scones looked amazing and must have tasted delicious given the smile on his human’s faces
My daughter and I stayed at The Egerton House Hotel in mid June. This stay was part of a trip of a lifetime, and the Egerton House Hotel played a significant role in that trip. It wasn't just the beautiful, quaint surroundings, or the amazing food, but it was the profound kindness, grace, and personal attention all the staff demonstrated. The Egerton House Hotel is truly a very special place!
Having traveled around the world and staying now in more than 1500 different properties, I can say without reservation that this hotel, it’s collective staff, it’s attention to detail, it’s kindness and it’s dedication to customer. Comfort is in the top five globally. It is rare that I leave a review, and so it must reach royalty, quality, and class. I want to personally congratulate this house for its outstanding service. As a Count And a side member of the Churchil and Marlborough families I felt a little bit like being treated as such even though they had no idea. I highly recommend this establishment for any traveler needing respite from this world and wanting to feel special.
Great experience and the hotel staff welcomed me and my family with open arms. The service and decor of the hotel is top tier and would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in london. 10/10 from meRooms: 5/5
Absolute pure luxury! We stayed at Christmas, the hotel was beautifully decorated with a mulled wine station in reception. Staff were very welcoming, the room was amazing, little touches like freshly made gingerbread in the room. Housekeeping laid out all my toiletries on little napkins which was amazing. Wonderful breakfast and cute gin bar. Will definitely be going again. Rooms: Ultimate luxury, comfiest bed and bed linen Nearby activities: V and A and natural history museum close by. Harrods a short walk.
Nice place to stay. Great food breakfast, afternoon tea. Staff go out of the way to help. Location is good to walkbto Harrods and the V&A museum Walkability: Walkable to Harrods, V&A museum they have membership pass which guests can use, South Kensington tube, Knightsbridge tube, Hyde park Noteworthy details: Staff is very helpful. Front deskMara is great, others too, dining Kevin is awesome. Though in the middle of all activities, the place is quiet.
We had high tea and loved it! The high tea for my dog was really sad though. He’s vegetarian and there was really zero effort put into his.Service: 5/5
I neglected to write a review when we stayed here back in October. We came based on the reviews and we were not disappointed. The small touches are what make a boutique experience memorable and this had a long list - great location, great recommendations for dining and anything else you might want, delicious shortbread in the lobby and the room, fresh fruit, turndown service with sweets, warm towels, candles in the bath. We had a very late day once and they set up a table in the drawing room just for us! Having a martini made by the fabulous bartender is totally worth the price - table side service and the drinks were amazing! Kudos to everyone! We loved it here and have recommended it multiple times since our stay. We definitely hope to return!
