The first time I've eaten here. It certainly won't be the last. My friend and myself were welcomed warmly by a lovely waitress. She took our drinks order, our dinner order. I had the belly pork,cooked perfectly. My friend had the steak and mushroom pie with handcut skin on fries . Both portions were extremely generous. The food was hot and flavourful . A 5* experience. We were very impressed
Easily the best Sunday dinner I’ve had around the coast. That good we’ve been back multiple times & recommended to friends & family who all agree it’s amazing. Can’t wait to go back.
We booked for Sunday lunch. We booked for 4 but turned up with 5 which was no problem for the young waitress. On arrival I was slightly concerned as no one in there was eating. But wow! The food was fantastic. The children woofed down there very generous chicken dinners child's portion. I am a very fussy veggie and I certainly was not disappointed with my nut roast - which I would usually leave and very impressed that I had my own portion of veggie gravy without having to ask. Finally the biggest compliment we could give is that the other half said his pork dinner was the best Sunday dinner he's had in ages. The young staff were brilliant waitresses and nothing was too much trouble. Thank you.

Had Sunday dinner here last Sunday service was exceptional Sunday dinner huge given extra gravy and condiments without even asking for them. Food was delicious large portions fantastic atmosphere Recommend Sunday lunch or even just drinks!
Stopped in for a quick pint whilst walking in the area. The pub is a nice pub with friendly staff. They only had one real ale but it was really well kept.
Brilliant food, staff and service. Guy was super lovely and reserved a table for us since we came with grandparents. Highly reccomend
Vegetables were a bit hard and warm not hot but overall the dinner was lovely beef was really tender.Food: 4/5
