Girlfriend and I stopped in here for a drink on Christmas day (evening). The place was busy and had a great vibe. This pub has the Casque Mark accreditation for real ale, which is why I've always wanted to stop here for a pint, passing through. Sure enough, there were a two very good real ales on and in perfect condition. We will definitely be going back when next in the area. They also have a beer garden round the back. Great pub.

Don't believe the previous entries, really nice cozy pub with a great atmosphere. Staff are good crack & quiz night is class.
