My self and my partner have been here a few times now on different days. We only live locally and its lovely to have such a lovely restaurant so close to hand. That being said we aren't regulars and on Saturday night we were pleasantly surprised when we got a last minute seating for two. Our waiter was lovely, friendly and very attentive even though the place was packed. Our food was delicious and the portion sizes very large. I would highly recommend for a lovely cozy night with a super friendly atmosphere
Food is always lovely and after a difficult day it made a pleasant treat. However, they had been busy and we had to wait for a table while they tidied up. After being seated, there was another wait before we were asked if we wanted a drink guess the answer to that question. Would I reccomend it? Yes. But if you go on a night when its busy, you may have a wait.
Nice atmosphere, pizza was really hot, crispy and tasty. Menu was the standard Italian but also a good selection of Greek dishes I'd like to come back and try. On the downside: asked for a glass of milk for my little boy, the guy came back to offer a refill too, which I accepted not realising the cost: £2.50 per glass. So paid £5 for a glass and a half of semi-skimmed which irritated me. Otherwise nice.
Last-minute decision to eat out and pleased we tried Rafaells. Great food, reasonably priced and friendly, accommodating staff in a lovely relaxed atmosphere. We arrived on spec with a 2-year old in tow and were found a table even though they were fairly busy. Hadn't appreciated their 'happy hour' which we arrived almost at the end of and which made it even better value for money. Will definitely be back.
Beautiful food and a very warm welcome! Booked a table for 4 adults and 2kids on their first night back in Delaval, we could not fault the staff or the food. We are so lucky to have such an amazing little restaurant on our door step. Thankyou for a great night

Great little Italian Restaurant in Seaton Delaval. Decor is Lovely,warm and Inviting.The food is Inexpensive and Very Satisfactory. Everything cooked to perfection.The Staff are very friendly...most of them young girls in their first jobs.... Doing Very Well. Manager is also a very friendly nice Lad. The only thing I would say is that on the two occasions we have ate there..... We've waited rather longer than you would expect just for the bill. I would like to think that this is more like a little teething problem with everything being new. We did wait a while With staff passing frequently.... I could see how people could get a little agitated. It wasn't at an overly busy period either. But its a great restaurant,well worth a try.
Lovely decor, friendly service. Food very, tasty well prepared and presented in a pleasant, clean and well laid out restaurant. Priced very reasonably, both for food and alcoholic drinks. We had soup & tatty skins for starters, pepper steak & chicken breasts in sauce served with salad & fries. Two pints of lager & 2 coffees for £25.50. Will cirtainly eat here again and can recommend highly after this our first visit. Plenty free parking in the area too.
great friendly service welcoming for children. lovely tasty food as well as good size portions with a great selection on the menu. mushroom brushetta and pizzas are amazing.
