Love the Keel Row! It is super dog friendly, has a restaurant if you prefer and a bar area- all with the same menu most days. The staff are fab and when the sun shines there is outdoor seating. They do loads of events too - altogether a great pub.

We love this place, although we have only visited during the day. The food is all home cooked, delicious and fantastic value for money. Children are well taken care of with indoor and outdoor play areas. A recently refurbished function room is available for hire and the conservatory restaurant very comfortable. Meals are served all day every day and you may sit in the large bar area if you want which is very dog friendly. There is a large carpark and beer garden. Very helpful and friendly staff, what more could you ask for. They also have a minibus available for those parties who need a lift, although not too far ☺. Well worth a visit

Perfect pace for a family meal. We struggle to eat out with 3 young kids but this place had a lovely play area inside the pub for the kids to busy themselves. Such a relaxing atmosphere and the staff can't do enough. Food is nice, home cooked style. Particularly recommend the ribs and mixed grill. This is out first port of call now for family meals out. Wish there were more places like this!

We arranged a set menu which makes it difficult to comment on the full menu. However it appears to be comprehensive with an excellent wide choice of food. The set menu we had was well presented, hot and good quality and portions. Drink prices were slightly above average. A good location with pleasant staff. Many thanks for an enjoyable evening.

Passed The Keel Row a few times when going to Tynemouth and decided to call in for lunch. So glad we did, what a little gem. Wonderful homely, friendly pub with a warm welcome from the staff. The menu is very extensive with something for everyone. I am a very fussy eater but found several dishes I would happily order, the gluten free menu also had more dishes available than I have come across before in other pubs. Had a lovely lunch with husband only sorry didn't have enough room for dessert, will definitely be returning.
