Story

We are a cozy little pub situated in Old Hartley (Seaton Sluice) . We serve Real Ales on four guest pumps, which have been quoted as 'An Excellent choice of Beer'. A warm and friendly atmosphere will always greet you, with a guaranteed smile when you walk through the door, and thats just from the locals. We serve food daily sourcing from local produce

Been here for food a few times. Decent scram decent price, closed on a Thursday due to Chef needing a day off. What sort of place only has one chef. Something tells me that this place isn't busy enough for more than one or poorly managed. Would also explain the old fashion presentation of the food. Only one person on bar, so service was pretty slow. Will only come back for Sunday dinner. Shame. Can't fault the food or beer. Just everything else. Fellow caravanners if you want a relaxing meal. This isn't the place.

Talk about a local pub for local people. 3 of us go in.... We're grated in the back room by about 9 people. Stopping talking and staring at us while we walk.towards the bar..... We order and not a word is spoken..... About 2 minutes later mumbling starts then conversations seem to carry on. We was made to feel super uncomfortable and not welcoming at all. We drank we left we laughed about it. Will. We return?... Maybe if we bring a pitch fork and our cousin...

terrible now, wanted beef ended up with bits of pork in it (Hate pork) was told to just move them to one side, gravy is like brown water, peas were still raw. na ill not be going back such a shame since was lush 4 plus year ago.
